That has nothing to do with cheating. Im sure Mosley is a great guy. But he cheated. And to respect him more then a guy who did it on pure work ethic is silly.

I'm really having a hard time giving a **** what you think. Hate who you want or be a fan of who you want... I could give two shits.

Aside from this one **** up in his life, Mosley has always been pure class. That's enough for me.

i respect mosley but that cheat he did tainted his career imo..but i can understand why fans would aprreciate him more.

But still that doesn't erase the fact that he cheated, floyd was better as a fighter, he's a clean fighter

i agree, it tainted his image for me too, he's still one of my top fav. fighters but, i loss some respect for the guy....specially since i dont think he needed it to begin with, it was a dumb move in my book, but that shouldn't define his career

True, I lost some respect for Mosley with that whole Balco thing. But even with that loss of respect, I still respect him more than I do PBF

Some overstated claims, but a good article.

You really see the difference when you read some of the things diehard Mayweather fans will post. Most fans want to talk about fights that have happened, or that could happen. These guys have an encyclopedic knowledge of why any given fight didn't or shouldn't happen.

Boxing might be a business, but the day I spend more time talking about why my favorite fighter didn't step in and beat somebody is the day I step back and wonder why I'm still watching the sport.

Mosley should just forget about mayweather and go for a rematch with cotto. We basicaly had a rock paper scissors match with mosley, cotto, and margacheato. So I think those two should decide who really is the best WW.

This has absolutely nothing to do with floyd's mouth. By your stance I take it that you would have detested the young Cassius Clay, or even the older Ali. both versions were 10 times more obnoxious than Floyd. Belittling to opponents and even racist at times.
So try and be objective and lets talk boxing. Floyd has a superior skillset to Moseley, this is undoubted to those who truly study the game. Manny steward amongst others have for years spoken about Moseleys tecnical deficiences. What Moseley has is great speed, athleticism and is brave as a lion. But he leaves himself far too wide open when he throws in bunches, however against most he gets away with ti because of his speed. His feet get him out of trouble against most but his upper body movement is not the greatest.
So when he comes up against a good technician, who boxes him long and can capitalise on the openings... bingo! Hence the losses to Forrester, and the very good tactically on the night Cotto.
On the other hand Floyd is without doubt the most adaptable boxer in the last 20 years. Able to bring an A, B and C game. And crucially like Ray Leonard able to figure it out in the ring without the aid of his corner. Moseley is a great but between him and Floyd skills wise or legacy wise, its chalk and cheese!
