Berto Is a glorified Mayorga. I have a bad feeling that Margarito was the perfect guy to make shane look good at this point in his career and he will be in **** against Berto. Many posters here have accurately stated that Mosely can't load up on shots the way he does at some points in his career. He has to fight Berto the same way he fought Collazo. Fast peppering jabs that work into combos. He'll be most effective when he can take the fight to Berto but he won't be able to do that for the whole fight so he'll need to be able to slow the pace and still control the fight when he can. To do this he will have to push berto very hard when he does push the pace. He can't afford berto coming back at him when he's taking a break. In many respects he'll have to out will Berto in this fight. It think he can do it.

Power punches he's probably fast. Punching in combinatino few people are faster then mosely. And his pepering jab that blinds you for the over hand right is definitely better then Berto's. Mosely's strengths are most apparent when you walk into his jab. If berto does this he's an idiot and will look very bad. If he move well and shows his boxing ability he has a very good chance.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and call this one for Berto. Speed and youth. If Berto does not get tricked into slugging it out but maintains a set pace and a jab he could take it.

hard to predict. Mosley has been off for a year and I can't predict his longevity looking at the margarito fight. He's getting old.

Berto on the other hand is young and fast. Those uppercuts are great but I'm worried about his chin.

I'd lean on Mosley bec of he's the veteran and can nullify the gameplan by clinching.

Not sure if Mosley completely blows him out... I predict a lot of holding in this fight so it's probably going rounds, but as long as Shane doesn't hit the wall I'm positive he knocks Berto the **** out.

Like I said, he's too green and doesn't use all the weapons at his disposal. He clinches so often he actually nullifies his own offense, he has a leaky defense particularly when he's on the inside, and he dosn't use his legs to box like we know he can, all which leads to evidense of a low boxing I.Q. due to inexperience....that, on top of many other things he needs to learn to compete with the best of them.

I'm sorry, but youth and quickness alone is not going to get him a win over the top man at welterweight. Welterweight bieng the most talented division in all of boxing.

Berto, Younger, faster, more elusive, plus Mosley has seen better days.

It doesn't have to do with being green or red hot. It all depends on Berto being able to fight his usual speedy-flashy- nonstop style fight under the quick bombs Shane throws at him. Looking at all his performances, I don't think so... Berto would try to steal the fight on numbers but if he can't impress and gets too many times tagged and stumbling back, that's it, another WBC title for Shane.

This is an interesting match up. Mosley looked amazing against Margarito but Margo was obviously not mentally prepared after the pre-fight drama and (possibly) losing the advantage that he'd had for many fights. Before that fight, Mosley hadn't looked very impressive in a while, especially against Cotto and Mayorga.

Berto hasn't looked that great lately either, against lesser competition too. He has the skills though and some good tools that will give Mosley some trouble.

This fight is either over early with Mosley knocking Berto out in the first five rounds or Berto winning a UD if he can avoid being KO'd and use his physical advantages to wear Shane out in the later rounds.

I'll go with Mosley KO round 4.

Berto will look flashy early and snag a few rounds. That's about it...Mosley by highlight reel KO. ESB posters find holes all over the place with Berto, imagine what Brother Nazim has found. Goodnight.
