The soulless guy of course... Shane should have retired already.

Canelo is the future, Sugar is the past.

I'd like to think he would knock Canelo out and retire. But he won't retire if he wins. Shitty.

I really wish they would stop feeding old fighters to Canelo and then reason that he needs more experience. He had enough experience to be granted a belt, the whole experience thing was done when he got it.

Mosley could pull it out but it's still a disgraceful cherry pick by the Cinnamon bun. Would make the ko even sweeter for Sugar Shane if it happens. No pun, intended. It's not that Alvarez isn't ready at the elite level, he's just not that good.

Get the concept of your dance down as the upset could happen.

Belts are just popularity contests...I thought you knew that.

I think they are bringing Canelo up just fine, and I'm almost 100% positive that they will have Saul fight a high profile name that is beatable, like Mosley and who will make for an exciting fight, and after that Canelo will start unifying where he can. GBP just wants to make sure he is mainstream enough to carry his own PPV.

Canelo will be the first man to stop Mosley.

I think you underestimate Canelo's punching power.

I'll be rooting for Shane because he's an old guy like me, but I'm kinda rooting for Alvarez too because I'm also Irish.

I am aware of that but that attitude doesn't do any favors to the entire prestige that the belts used to hold.

As far as fighting high profile names, they would do better to build up their own fighters by having them fight each other and other up and comers and build their names that way instead of feeding the old to the young. It's not a "changing of the guard" if the old guard aren't being valiantly bested by a younger fighter. Shane hasn't had it for a while, Mayweather showed that he doesn't have enough, Mora showed that he had even less, and Pacquiao confirmed he had nothing left.

If the supposed P4P#1 fighter in the world, fighter of the decade, supposed 8 division champion can fight a washed up Mosley...Surely a 21 year old kid, with a paper belt can too.

here, you have a good point.
i dont hate Canelo, i was a big fan until he got his belt and started to fight undeserved contenders.I woudnt mind seen him fight Mosley if it wasnt for the belt.He shoudnt be rushed into big names. But since belts no mean **** any longer, what the heck.
Its just what boxing is about today.
