ISAL Apologies dude, didn't read before I commented. Jumped in head first and made myself look a dick. Sorry again.
ech. I don't even count that 8th belt. I always say 7.5 and that's being generous. Point being, Mosley shouldn't be fighting anyone anymore. The only way I can see this working out for him is if Canelo tries to fight him like a Mexican and Shane decides to actually throw and tries to blast him out. Canelo isn't overly fast, so who knows. Maybe Naazim can make him throw along with his movement.
Though he's reluctant to pull the trigger, I guess Mosley can find a way to calm himself and fight strategically without blowing his load and gassing or tasting a big shot and getting discouraged (Floyd/Manny). If he can get Canelo's respect early, maybe he'll get intimidated and run at an even pace. I'm rooting for Mosley because he's always been one of my favorites, but at the same time, I'm kind of rooting for Canelo in a way, because a Canelo win keeps hopes for his future high, whereas a Mosley win just means he had enough left in the tank to spark out a young talent, and not much more ever again.
Mosley is only fighting for paychecks and is way past it. Canelo is going to beat him up and it'll be very sad.
Mosley is shot to ****, and is practically done at the highest level. While I think Canelo is overrated, he's young, and has the potential to make some great fights in the future.
