in my opinion (and not because im a fan of mosley), mosley is the tougher fight, he is the bigger, stronger, probably faster and craftier guy.

Mosley mostly based on his size.

A few years ago, Mosley. But today based on their ages I am going to say Pac. Pac has a decent chance of out working PBF.

Mosley is good but I dont know what he is going to look like in May. He didnt look good against Mayorga but great against Margo. Margo is an ******* for what he did but when judging what Mosley has left you have to consider that Margo was shitting bricks cause he knew he was busted cheating so he wasnt going to be there mentally in the fight and it showed.

If anyone can put smart pressure on Floyd its gotta be Sugar. No shoulder roll can withstand the bombs Sugar can throw and at the speed he throws.

Mosley's size and power make him a natural enemy for Floyd. Odds are though that he'll probably just get countered into the mat like pretty much everyone else does. Maybe a couple years back this would have been an amazing fight, but Shane's too old.

Pac has the better chance(If he ever gets it).

Pacquiao is definitely the tougher fight for Mayweather, though I doubt Pacquiao could beat Mosley at welterweight. It's a styles thing IMO.

I should note here that I think the 2000 version of Shane who became the first man to convincingly beat Oscar would beat the welterweight Floyd. Shane was just too big, too strong, too powerful, too active, too robust.

But Mosley is, obviously, not the same fighter now that he's nearer 40 years old. The Cotto and Mayorga fights showed that Shane has clearly slowed down, he was never exactly Pernell Whitaker in terms of defence but now his head is static and his guard is sloppy, he is easy to hit and easy to hit cleanly. Now this fact didn't matter so much against Margarito, because he was also there to be hit all night, and Shane's power saw him dominate. But Floyd is the polar opposite to Margarito.

For a fighter to beat Floyd I think he must be lightning fast, super-active, and with great power and a great chin. Shane still has the great power and the great chin, but his legs are not lightning fast anymore, and his workrate is substantially lower now than it was in 2000. The current version of Pacquiao is far harder to hit than Shane, faster, and has great power and a great chin.

Against Mosley, Floyd will be an over-cautious defensive shell because he is scared of Shane's strength and power. He will be on the bicycle all night long, much like his performance in the second Castillo fight. Run, jab, smother, run, run, run, run, jab, smother. And because Shane's movement (of both foot and head) is not what it once was, these single shots being flicked out at him as he comes forward will land cleanly, the same kind of eye-catching head shots that allowed Floyd to scrape through with the judges against Oscar. Mayweather by dull, comfortable UD - although Shane will hurt him and win some rounds clearly in the second half of the fight.

Against Pacquiao, it is a different story entirely. His speed, activity and movement will make him a nightmare for an over-cautious pot-shotter.

The answer is the Pacman. :good

I think they both kick Floyd's ass. And everyone has conveniently written off the fact that Cotto beat Shane. It no longer seems to count for some reason.

Styles make fights, but Pac kicked Cotto's ass.

Mosley is liable to try to box with Floyd and to do that you have to box real well and lose your speed. On the other hand, there's no doubt what Pac will do, and he'll go to the body and is fast and lots of stamina. If Mosley were to fight the right way he'd be the harder fight. Better chin, I think, and harder puncher.

Yeah he did, right after Cotto faced Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey. The only reason they went after him was because they noticed Cotto wasnt the same fighter that faced Sugar. Fact!

That's like saying I weighed in at 200 on that scale. That scale is broken, but I still weighed in at 200.
