Mosley or Trinidad? Who is Better All Time?

Tito had more title defenses at the time, still does I believe.

Tito/Wright was a shutout but so was Mosley/Wright I.

 

I think Mosley has won the argument, hands down so far by the posters. Seems like most of the people who picked Tito are Boricuas,and even a couple Boricuas admitted Mosley got this.

 

It has always kind of amazed me how underrated Trinidad became after suffering losses to Hopkins and Wright. Trinidad was the most feared man in boxing for a good three years, and has had a much more accomplished career than Mosley, and honestly, any elite fighter should do to Margarito what Mosley did, Margarito is THAT limited.

 

ODLH was not a good win for Trinidad, it was a highway robbery. He lost that fight badly.

 

I never thought Tito was as great as everyone else thought! I always thought he was beatable and that was even before Oscar schooled him. I have to admit thought I was coming around after his wins over Reid,Vargas and Joppy but I still knew that he was probably biting off more than he could chew against Hopkins.
Dont get me wrong i think he is a Great fighter and a first ballot hall of famer,but a level lower than the True ATGs.

 

Look at the way both men handled Losses. When Shane loses he goes for the rematch immidiatly (even though Cotto wouldn't give him one) and he eventually bounces back. When Trinidad loses he retires.

That's just one factor though. There are many others. THe fact that shane is still on top of the game at this time also says a lot

 

I agree. I think Tito just possessed more of the 'it' factor. He always came to fight and the manner in which he handed out beatdowns was so impressive that he's thought of higher in alot of peoples eyes. When you break down resume vs resume between the two, it's fairly clear that Shane is out in front.

I made my points in this thread that haven't been replied to yet fully either. And only one Tito fan said Mosley is more accomplished so don't exaggerate and say "a couple".

On the first part, your agreeing that only Tito fans think that Tito is greater while Shane fans and OTHERS say that Shane is better??? I think you have made the whole arguement in a nutshell:hey:good

On the second part, if there is one thing that 99.9% of us here can agree on its that Farmy is a moron, and a racist and anything that he has to say about any fighter with a African linage can be taken with a grain of salt or ignored altogether.
