Mosley or Trinidad? Who is Better All Time?

Felix, is one the greatest welterweights in the history of boxing. Shane, is very good fighter but is not on the level of a prime Tito.

You have to forget Trinidad, fighting at 170. He was never the same above welterweight.

Tito by a mile ... the wraps were wrapped tightly there was nothing in them.

Tito is more accomplished, had a more devastating win streak and he beat some of the fighters than Shane beat first. He knocked out Mayorga (first of the main streak guys) ... he knocked out Vargas, He was the first to beat DLH, destroyed the career of David Reid, beat Whitaker, Camacho, and held a championship longer than all of Shane's championship level fights combined.

 

Althought I agree with most of what you said,and i do pick shane overall. I think Mayorga would say Tito,I think Tito was more impressive than Shane in their fight. I think Mosley had a little stretch where he didnt look anywhere near his old self against Mayorga and Cotto. He looks like he was old self against Margarito though. We will see if that was a last hurrah for the 39 year old when he faces Berto.

Some people are so biased that it makes them post stupid **** and they dont even know it. So does listing Hopkins, Jones, Wright, or even Oscar(who we all know really beat tito) help tito??? Or Campas who is ass. Reid??? Please.

But its nice that people forget or leave out the fact that shane actaully started his career at a lower weight and fought some very good smaller fighters that didnt seem to make the list. fighters like John John Molina, or Jesse James Leija

 

had you asked me this question a year ago, i would have said trinidad. but they are on par with each other. and both are definitely better than dlh

 

Agreed with most of your comments especially Mosleys early career wins at lightweight. However I disagree with your opinions on David Reid,I think Reid was pretty good he was a good puncher and very fast. Went downhill after fighting Tito.

 

I think this thread confirms my sentiment that the Margarito win is tremendously overrated. Good win, but Great? NO. Honestly, all elite fighters should dispatch of a de-weaponized Margarito that way. Im surprised it took that long, but Im glad Mosley was the one to do it.

 

Felix Trinidad. People are just carried away by Shane's win over the overrated Margo.
