Lets not turn this into a steroid thread, if you celive he took them dont reply, not saying he did or din not just this post is based on different topic.. How do you rate mosley? Dared to be great taking on avoided fighters? never stopped, champ in different weights, fights in an exciting style.
Back in the day he was untouchable and then he met Forrest. All his fights are pure excitment tho, the guy is a pure fighter, never backs down.
yea def. I don't rate those losses against him because he was fighting bigger stronger guys who were very hungry at the time. Not to mention he took immediate rematches and did quite well in both. Mosley today by alot of people are criticized for his losses but I see them as a stepping stone to where he is today at damn near 40 and at the top of the heap.
definitley a p4p great. One of the best lightweights ever nearly unstoppable. One helluva fighter. A prime motivated Mosley is a difficult opponent for any fighter ever
Don't know why everyone is screaming for a rematch. Cotto beat Mosley clearly IMO the first time around.
Mosley is one of the greats. I kind hope Cotto beats Clottey so we can get Cotto-Mosley II. I think if Mosley can beat Cotto and then beat him in a trilogy then thats the way to go out. Or beat Clottey and go out swiniging on Mayweather.
Yeah right. That fight was a draw but im not gonna agrue if somebody has it 7-5 for Cotto. but if somebody had it 8-4 for Cotto they need to get off his nuts. and PPL are saying a rematch becase Mosley is the champ right now, it cant be Cotto after beating a cupcake in Jennings so Cotto needs to fight Mosley again
I wouldn't have a problem with someone giving the fight to Cotto by 3 rounds. Although that might be slightly excessive. I had it to Cotto by 2. Mosley gassed big time, and he hasn't got any younger since then. I'm not against a rematch, it might be an interesting fight. But its not something that needs to happen IMO. It was a close but clear win for Cotto.
Could not agree with you more, especially about him being good for the sport! Whenever you hear Mosley talk, he does not disrespect his peers. In fact, he mostly states his desire to box the best! Whatever happens from this day forward in respect of his career, he's had a wonderful Boxing career! I'm sure if he retired tomorrow, he would be content! I don't see why he wouldn't be content? At nearly 38, he's a credit to the game! Like Hopkins, he takes care of himself all the time, not just for eight weeks before a bout!
