The best of the best..the ones who would be among the greatest 20 fighters of the alltime.

Majority of those guys fought in eras where there were far less divisions, and only 1 title for those divisions..so the whole weight jumping thing needs to be put into perspective

Sure 7 division champ sounds nice and its a great achievement. But you cant say that it surpasses what a lot of those guys did.

At best they can finish is top 10. To be in top 3 one person has to run the table with 6 major fights. Beating the other 2 is not enough.

To be considered in top 3 you would need to beat the other two, maybe more than once, take on another 2-3 major fights (Cotto, Marg, PW, 140 elites, etc). That would take about 3 years to do. So Mosley is unlikely. PBF is too picky with his matches but he is young and skilled enough to do it in a perfect world. So is Pac.

But in reality, it is not going to happen. Top 10 at best.

But thats not entirely true, beating belt-holder these days is
something like beating strong contender at the ancient times,
and a bit more legitimate since the 'contender' status may be totally over hyped.

Today's beltholders at least proved themselves once against
other strong contender=i.e. previous beltholder. But you right
we cant count PAC to be true LW champion.

And lately it took just single fight to become 'undisputed' champion.

Exactly! Either guy would have to move up to HW TO even be considered Number 1 ATG!

A certain Mr Robinson & Mr Amrstrong have Number 1 & 2 ATG on lockdown, repsectively! RIP to them both!

Why is on lockdown? .. do you mean Robinson and Amrstrong already
moved to HW (which was at current CW limit) and did something
which cannot be repeated in any future times?

every answer different from none is ridiculous for me. I mean come on Suger Ray beat Jack Lamotta 5 times. And Lamotta is another ATG fighter. How can anyone of this fighters be considered better that him. I mean their combine records could possible compare to his.

Are you some kind of ******?

How about this: 5'2 147lb Barbodoes Joe Walcott demolished 180lb Joe Choynski in 6 rounds. jack Johnson said Choynski was the hardest hitter he ever faced.

Maybe he simply had Lamotta's number ....
Say would you put Tarver on TAG list because he had Jones Jr number?

What pisses me off is the Floyd could now be in a great position to be chasing a top 5 ATG position if he didn't waste most of his career fighting blown up smaller boxers and non elite fighters. He could, by now, have fought and possibly beaten Cotto, Margarito and Williams. Imagine how that would have made his C.V look if he then went on to beat Mosley and Pac. Looks to be too little too late for Floyd. He chose money over legacy.

Pac could get in the top 5 ATG if he beats Floyd and Mosley. He has a better resume than Floyd as things stand right now.

Mosley is nowhere near even the top 50 ATGs. Pointless even mentioning him.

None of the fighters will be No. 1.
