    Mosley is pushing 40.

He never fought at 140 and hasn't weighed 140 in 10 years or so.

Mosley is in a win win.

He wins he beat Pac at his weight, he loses he was drained.

Pac is SOL is he takes it at 140.

Pac KO/TKO in 6 if Mosley is like Roy Jones coming from heavyweight.

Mosley isn't stupid like Roy. He'll handle the weight and he will outclass Pacquiao. Many of you will be surprised by how well Mosley handles the weight, but I won't.

The only thing that would surprise me right now is if Pac and Roach actually take the fight.

    I gotta disagree.

There's no "safe way" to take off muscle which is what Mosley is going to have to do.

What did he weigh vs Vargas?

    Roy Jones.

DLH (Although take DLH took A LOT of muscle off. He was weighing 147 in camp. Not cutting weight.

As a *******, I don't like Pac taking on grandpa Shane. It's loss loss situation. He should fight Cotto at 145 instead. It's winnable and good for his legacy. Mosley may use roids again.

****in' Freddie Roach is startin' to **** me off.

There's no reason whatsoever Pac can't fight Mosely @ 147

    This is some bull****.

In the past few years, Mosley has gone from 147 up to 154, back to 147, up to 154 again, and back down to 147. He has always made the transition smoothly.

He is a gym rat, and I'm betting he's already weighing much less than normal at the prospects of facing Pac.

I could be wrong, but I think Mosley is one of those special fighters who can make the transition almost seamlessly.

    We shall see.

    Different men, different circumstances.

Besides, Roy being weight drained is, IMO, a convenient excuse.

He looked pretty good in the first Tarver fight if you ask me. In fact, I rate that as Roy's best win ever.

With DLH's recent example of what NOT to do and Naz leading the helm, I think Mosley handles the weight much better than Roy and infinitely better than Oscar.

Refer to my post about Mosley moving up and down without many ill effects over the past few years. His body is more used to such fluctuations.

    I think so too.

When he did his interview and called out Floyd on ESPN...he looked a lil bit skinnier. Didnt look as thick or muscular.

Yea but if he is weighing lets say 160-163 come fight time. That's not much. He's a gym rat like Pac. When you stay in shape, your body can cut a lot more weight.

I wouldn't be surprised if he cuts 13+lbs

Mosley weighed 160. He's going to have to lose 5-7lbs of muscle. not a healthy thing to do. Unless the fight is further away than we expect.
Roy Jones was a gym rat and he had to lose what looked on paper to be 7lbs but he actually weighed 200. So we shall see.

mosley situation is a bit different from jones and dlh's. jones had to lose 20 some odd pounds for tarver. now dlh going to 147 didnt have a good effect on him but dlh is a bigger fighter then mosley. mosley came form 135 and skipped 140. so theres a chance he still might be effective at 140. doubt pac even takes the chance. they'd much rather fight cotto then mosley

Yeah, but he skipped over Jr. Welter from lightweight and went straight to 147

This is where I'm a bit concerned.
