i had floyd +200 decision win in the fight with mosely.

in the ninth round, after it was clear that mosely was not going to win, i was very much concerned that floyd couldve stopped shane if he wanted to.

and then about a year later i read an article(it couldve been a 24/7) where floyd said that he tells friends to bet on the outcome of his fights(hence his decision win) such as froch has admitted to doing.

floyd doesnt go for the ko because he doesnt get paid more for it.

to think that he cant knock guys out is just stupid.

because if he didnt have power in his fists, he wouldnt be 43-0.

Mayweather was known as a power puncher back in the day. He knows how to pop.

It's easy to look like Superman when you beating on fighters 2 divsions below you, Canelo couldn't even put Mosley down hitting him with all he had while lil Manny had Mosley on ***** street and running for life after a seemingly soft short straight left, Canelo power is overrated as ****....................

What Mosley said is kind of shocking considering he fought FMJ at WW and Canelo at JMW

Its fitting to point out that Alverez did in fact stop Baldomir

i think floyd is capable of more k.o.'s but chooses to take the safer route and doesnt take enough chances to go for it

I don't believe he has the same raw power, but his timing, speed and accuracy allow him to hit opponents when they're not expecting it.. Thus making the punch have a greater impact.

It is what it is, and that was a sucker punch.

Sucker punch != Would have KO fairly. He wouldn't have.

He clearly doesn't have the raw power that Alverez has, Alverez is a big hitting natural 154lber ffs.

"Its fitting to point out that" the 39-year-old, career welterwight baldomir had about a month to prepare for canelo after not having fought for eight months and at 159 lbs, his highest career weight.

Does anyone know if there's ever been an interview with Cotto where he talks about the Floyd fight in detail (i.e., Floyd's power)?

First, im not a canelo backer. I didnt make a point in his favor, I stated a fact. Please tell me what "argument" I made....?

He said that Baldomir would not be ko'd, when in fact he was. Case closed. Not sure what exactly your bitching about :huh

he also said not going to ko oscar when prime dlh was kod by a body shot agaisnt hopkins and then later tkod by paq.

bringing up the baldomir ko is worst than bringing up dlh getting stopped by paq.

baldomir had about a month to make weight whereas as dlh had three months and an entire camp.

the balodmir KO is pretty much worthless to anyone handicapping a future canelo fight just the same as the paq ko of dlh.
