I would love Hatton to win so he can face Sugar Shane! Can you say TIMBEEEERRRRRRR!!! Sheeeeeeeeeeet Hatton would have 3 hopes slim none and bob. Never in a month full of Sundays could Hatton EVER EVER EVER beat Sugar Shane. The annihilation would be brutal to watch.

 

I don't get it, why can't boxers, even intelligent ones, get the concept of p4p correctly? Does anyone have any idea?

 

Shane is one of my favorite fighters, but it sickens me to hear such stupid things even if its only for hype. Every sane fan knows Ricky cant jump 8-10 places just for beating Pacman who was few weight classes below a year ago.

 

Its called marketing. The entirity of Rickys career has been based on this. Even the BBC has him down as a 6 time world champion. The BBC dont realise that the WBU and IBO dont count. On that basis alone the casual fan actually thinks Pac who is a 4 time world champ is the inferior of the two. The result because of auspicious marketing and this P4P BS is the Hatton rabble we see in tow. Rickys whole career has been built on this premise from his 15 WBU defences to him turning down world title shots and waiting for Warren to hand him an old Kostya on a plate who only took the bout as a final payday. They've been clinging to his nuts ever since. The kids shaped himself a fantastic career built on nothing more than cotton wool and his fans lap it up in the bucketload. Fortunately the dirty laundry ALWAYS comes out in the wash. Pac will dispose with that dirty laundry tonight.
