I was a big supporter, most boxers I support are black.
Either way, it's ****ing ******ed to label me as some racist over a comment about black people being floyd's fans when he is the guy talking about philippino support of Pacquiao and Puerto rican support of Cotto.
I'm not going to give black people a pass on supporting black fighters when the same **** is said about every boxer in the world and their race/countryman

As unpolitically correct LukeO statements sound, race plays a small part of who some people support. I don't think he meant anything racist about it. A big article came out about a month ago on yahoo saying the importance of not playing the race card is overrated because it simply closes your eyes (ignores) a problem that still exists today albeit in a more race tolerant society.

 

I think GBP is not really making big money out of its boxing promotions. GBP fight cards mostly sucks and couple that with the GBP new signed up jinx (remember Barrera, Ponce De Leon, Ortiz, Linares, etc.)

Mosley should leave GBP if they can't make the Floyd fight. GBP giving JMM the Floyd fight last year was a big slap already to Mosley.
