I pulled this from a sports pictorial from Yahoo...

After his convincing defeat at the hands of Money Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on Saturday, boxer Sugar Shane Mosley has confirmed that he is done with boxing and would now like to “seek a simpler life.”

“I was getting my bell rung pretty darn good,” Mosley admitted, “and then, in the middle of the ninth round, it occurred to me that ‘I don’t have to put with this sh___. I just had a flash that I could live a simple pastoral life on the hillsides of Switzerland, maybe get me some sheep.”

Will he still be around to do some work with GBP? Bernard is already gone, and it doesn't even feel right. Things would be weird without Bernard AND Mosley.

Good to see him out of the ring. He fought the best there was out there and even won some. He tried to beat the current best but came up short. No point in him hanging around to be 2nd place. Mosley has done all he can, and he deserves the good life now.

Thank you for the good fights. Thank you for entertaining antics on Sept 19th. Thank you for shocking the world by knocking out that Margacheato. Thank you for the fight with the best of our era.

    There's life after boxing.

It's probably best for him. He has nothing else to prove.

Yeah poor Mosley, he didn't seem like the same fighter that he was 5 years ago. I hope Pac and May are not 38 before they fight each other.

A good fight for Mosley would be Zab Jaduh and very attractive ...they both can make some money on a fight like this....I believe this could happen and I'll pay to see this one.

    at that quote

I like to see him retire off back of a win but he doesn't look to have to much left.

It would be good for three rounds after that both would be too tired to throw anything.

WTF, why are people dissing him for walking away, he just got a reality check last night that he is old and doesn't have it anymore, If Floyd was a bigger puncher he would've KO'd him.
