Would you class Hatton at the time as a keep busy fight, regardless of the performance I know I wouldn't.

The point i'm making is fighting mosley in may is hardly a stay busy fight. A stay busy fight is fighting someone like Mayorga, Mallagnagi, Judah, Collazo.

Nope, but that's not the point I was making either. I was making the point that having a fight in May does not exclude a bigger fight within that year for Pacquiao, evidently. I don't perceive Mosley as a stay-busy fight like you do to begin with, by the way.

I made the point because you said:

So, I'm simply saying, there's no reason to assume Mosley would be his main fight of 2011 to begin with, is all.

By that bases you are correct. I retract that statement.

Mosely has more left than his last two fights would indicate.
The Mora fight was a bit of a struggle against a defensive minded bigger guy, and Mosley still should have gotten a win.
Mayweather would have beaten any version of Mosely, an older , slower Shane was a sitting duck for Floyd.
Paq isn't defensive minded , is also shorter and less mobile than Mora or Floyd.
Shane can still sock , is seasoned and experienced , still more quick and mobile than any non elite contenders. Not at his best, Shane is still better than most, and capable of giving Paq a fight, if Manny isn't at his best.

Berto is more dangerous than Mosley, much more at this point.

...Because...he's...beaten...???...Hernandez?...Urango?... Or how about because he WOULD beat...??? Mayweather?...Mora? ... ...I just don't see it. But maybe time will prove me wrong about Berto.

Bruce Lee is and had been my idol for many years.. I have read every book, watched every film about him or with him.. and it is a well known and accepted fact that Bruce took steroids... he might not be the best choice of placing side by side with Pac in ur avatar.... just saying

He won't bring four big rounds. He only managed one against Mayweather. Keeping up with Pacman is a huge task, Cotto could only manage it for a few rounds, and even then he was getting KD'd.

I just like both of them. They have some similarities like how well-known they are in the US while being an icon in their own respective countries. So I picked a picture of them that look the same.

    Better Skilled, Marquez.
    More Youth w/ Power, Berto.
    More Suga(cash) easier fight, Mosley.
More Money, More Praise for Pacman, Arum/Roach/Buboy.

The only danger shane presents is to pacman's popularity.

A lot of the hardcore fans are getting sick of him not fighting p4p rated opponents, or even top in his division. At ww he can only really face berto, floyd, shane and marquez. But how about at 154? There is a plethora of worthy opponents. Or if 154 is too big for the 154 champ then how about 140, he could fight marquez or the winner of bradley - alexander.

Fighting shane really isn't justifiable. It reeks of being a low risk high reward fight. And well all know the last welterweight to employ that opponent criteria?

It looks like finally pac and floyd are singing from the same hymn sheet. But unfortunately not in the way we fans want them to sing.

    .
    (I know that much.)

    I'd rank them...
    Mosley
    Marquez
    Berto
(Obviously Mayweather would outrank them all in difficulty, but that possibility is R.I.P.)

To be honest, I'm not sure. I put it like this...Shane has the best chance of stopping (KOing) Manny, Marquez has the best chance of out-boxing Manny and Berto is the wild card who could have the power, skill set and youth to do either.

For the record: I'd favor Pacquiao over Berto
