He was exciting before 2002, then he sucked and was boring, then he had a great night against Margarito and looked good again.

Nah, Erik Morales is the most exciting fighter in the last 20 yrs & 1 of the most exciting of all time, as far as excitement goes, his fights were remarkably consistent for an elite A+ level fighter.

Whether you get excited by great technique watching guys that can throw every punch in the book thats well schooled in boxing or whether you like blood & guts with heart & passion... doesnt matter, Morales is both... rarely in a bad fight in his 54 pro fights... you likely couldnt name 3 bad fights of those 54.

Definitely one I should've put up there, I considered him myself, I've just seen barrera fights 1, 2, 3 and Pac 1 of his so far but I could be swayed to agree with you. I was thinking some of the bigger guys or 1 punch knock out artists that appeal to hardcore and casual fans alike. Maybe I'll start a poll.

Jones - no way, he is too boring.
Toney - sometimes, it depends on which Toney shows up.

Candidates for most exciting fighters are:

    Pac
    Tito
    Morales
    Naz
    Calzaghe
    Jirov

Your an idiot. I have the whole of Mosleys fights on VHS up to Shannon Taylor when i bought them around 2000/01. I have all of his fights since that date too. I have NEVER watched a boring Mosley fight. When he was at lightweight much like a young Roy Jones he was KOing everyone in sight. The guy is just simply not a boring fighter and carries his power for the full 12 rounds. The only complete career collections i have on tape are Tyson and Sugar Shane. Cost me a £100 but it was money well spent.

Calzaghe? No way, not enough power in my opinion.

    And you're a *****.

His fights with Winky were boring to me, his fights with Forrest were aight. His fight against DLH II sucked lemon on Mosley's part. His Fights against Cruz and that other journeyman were nothing to get excited about.

Like I said, Adrian Stone and before, he was exciting. Forrest and above, he was not "The MOST exciting fighter", not even close.

    Barrera
    Morales
    Judah
    Corrales
    Castillo
    Calzaghe
    Margarito
    Cotto
    Arce
    Hamed
    Mayorga
    Trinidad
    J. Diaz
    Pacquiao

Those are fighters who are more exciting than Mosley, just to name a few.
