I agree Mayorga looked like he could barely stand plus the final punches were on the button. If he would have gone down like that in the first I would think it was a fix.

  2. Mosley struggled with Mayorga because Shane doesn't fight smart.

MOSELY NEEDED THAT ROUND ,IF HE HAD LOST THAT ROUND HE WOULD HAD LOST THE FIGHT BY SPLIT DECISION ...I DON'T THINK THE FIGHT WAS FIX ...HE HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH MAYORGA IMAGINE WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN HE FIGHTS A WELL TRAIN BOXER AS MAYWEATHER ,WHO DOESN'T TRIED IN THE LATE ROUNDS ..POINT SAID.

    yes all fights are fixed.

now back in reality, Mayorga was gassed towards the end after putting on probably the best performance of his career against capable opposition.

This fight was about as fixed as Hopkins vs. De La Hoya...

    Agree.

I thought Mayorga fought a great but ugly fight. Mosley failed to adapt and i think Shane was lucky to get the win.

Yeah. It's absolutely crazy how unwilling people are to give Ricardo credit for turning back the clock and turning in a great performance. "Oh, that proves it - Shane's shot!"

Hmm. Ask Margarito about that. And don't throw "styles make fights" around, either. Mayorga is no less a come-atcha type than Tony.

I find it really stupid for anyone to think that fight was fixed.

Mayorga was tired as hell and was punch drunk from being hit solidly several times before the KO punch.

Jones-Griffin II, now that looks more of a fix to me. Griffin came to the ring already looked beaten, Jones stance was obviously just to throw left hooks and about 90% of his punches were left hook and yet Griffin still got hit repeatedly and the icingon the cake is way Griffin was stumble around the ring.

marlon wright wouldve never had let that happen. and when he buckled before the punch... i think he was just scared. honestly dont like to say a fighter is scared but he he was trying to get the hell away from that punch.

Unbelievable pro-Mayweather ( against Mosley) Campaign. Now looking back at Shane's last performances. I'm sure it will come up to the Balco thing again later... Obviously, Mayorga couldn't take Shane's power and it was in the last seconds that it came to be BY CHANCE. Mayo tried to spoil the fight, grabbed, complained to the ref about low blows and rabbit punches throughout, raised his arms up in the air when doing absolutely nothing, so how come he's bought to make Shane shine? How come Baldo who's much more needed of doe didn't sell himself for Floyd? They din't sold themselves... Baldo tried to fight and was outworked all the way, Mayo tried to prove himself stronger at 154lbs ( and coming from 168lbs) and came to realize he couldn't and was blasted by Shane. End of the Story. Worry yourselves on your fighter Floyd and forget about Shane's later opponents.

did you even bother to read any posts other than my first one? if you did, you will see that i have been very open minded about this fight and finally agreeing that the fight was not fixed.
