Mosley v Mayorga

    These two are my current number 1 and 2 fighters and have been for a while. On paper it was a dream name matchup.

    The stylistic matchup from a fans pt of view today was terrible. Both men a strong power punches and that didnt play out too well, alot of holding, bumping of heads etc etc

    Going into the 12th i had Mosley behind by a bit, maybe 2/3 rounds. I knew he could hurt Mayorga but :admin:admin:admin he crunched his ass out in the absolute dying seconds of allocated time.

    Props to both men.

    Shane looked old. Perfect time to retire, but he won't.

    Apparently he said he wants to fight for another 6 years :lol:

    I reckon it was just an ugly matchup more so than his age catching up.

    He has lost a little bit of everything as every year passes by

    Mate he'd have got rid of Mayorga before 8 a few years back. Ricardo is a punching bag for the elite fighters. Shane looked gassed for the last few rounds, until the 12th. A rematch with Forrest would be ok. Magarito would bash him.

    Yeah a few people are saying that shane was behind on points going into the 12th.

    He wasnt, one had mayorga up by one. The other two had Shane up.

    Shane would turned that other score around with the knockdowns in the 12th.

    The feed I got was ****, I couldnt watch it after about the 5th. Really have to see this fight in full, seen the KO. Awesome finish by Sugar.

    Pretty ugly fight to be honest.

    Both were throwing their loads then grabbing, most of the time they were doing it at the same time. I think Shane struggles with Mayorga at any stage of his career due to their styles.

    From the opening Bell you could see all Shane wanted to do was wait for an opportunity to blast Mayorgas head off.

    Mosley's past his best now and Mayorga has been for a while which reflected in the contest a bit. Always love watching the slightly retarted Mayorga, bit dissapointed he didn't spark up a ciggie again though.

    Mosley looked old tonight & better stay away from Margarito thats 4 sure.
    Great finish though.

    Tony would punch the c__t out of Shane now. His only chance would be to get on his bike for 12 straight rounds and personally I don't think he has the stamina anymore to do that.

    I bet you he doesnt win by 4 or more rounds.

    Mosley will connect cleaner and harder than Cotto did and def get Margs attention.

    These two will fight i am sure.

    Shane should give it away, he will not beat a top 147 or 154 now, berto would beat him and he is least strongest of the top guys at 147. Maybe forrest but I Forrest beats him bad.
