A lot of Cotto's vaunted strength had more to do with his competition. It was no where on display against Margarito, Mosley, Clottey, Pac, or any of the top guys he fought at 147. Floyd's also bigger than Cotto. Cotto was an undersized welterweight. Short, short arms and generally heavier than he should have been.

Floyd used to be a smaller welterweight but he's obviously grown into the weight. He's not a tremendously strong puncher but outside of Castillo 1 he's never been well and truly roughed up on the inside or pushed around.

That's all academic, though, because Floyd and Cotto are two different beasts entirely.

I sincerely think Mosley could beat FLoyd is he'd pressure him, and pound him. He'll take some punches, but he'd KO Floyd, or hurt him enough for a UD.
However, I think were going to see the Mosley from the Mayorga fight who sits there, and does nothing for a while. I could be wrong though, and if I were Mosley...After what all Floyd has said (bound to get in your head) I'd swing for the freakin fences, I'd eat his punches like snacks, break him down mentally/ physichally, and be his worst nightmare. Mosley can do it is the thing, but will Mosley do it is another....

Mosley will barely touch Floyd, and Floyd will counter him to death. Floyd by comfortable UD.
