It's a damn shame we never got it. I have no idea who would've taken it. I think it may've been a slightly bad style match-up for Shane. I'd lean towards Trinidad taking it at 154+ but Shane having a better chance at 147.
Yeah, I just assumed the OP meant 147 - I think Trinidad would probably take it. 154 then he certainly would.
Mosley prime at 147 are you kidding me? He would destroy tito on the inside, keep him in the center of the ring and box circles. Mosleys speed would have confused the **** outta Tito.
I don't think that tito had a poor chin, bad balance caused a lot of his knocked downs. I do think shane would likely knock tito down early but i can see tito stopping shane late. Mosely isn't really a master boxer, he likes to keep the fight in range and fire his shots, this would turn into a war in my view. Not something you want to be doing against trinidad.
Thank You! I totally agree with you. As much as i like Mosely i have always thought a match up with him and Trinidad would Not be good for Mosley. People have the misconception that Shane is this Great "Boxer", he is not. Shane is/was a lightning fast, explosive puncher with good skills but at heart shane is a brawler. He likes to go toe to toe, and truly believes his power and strength matches and exceeds any opponent he is in there with. Anybody that comes straight forward and brawls with Trinidad is in for a beat down. Shane is not as big or crafty as Hopkins, and he has nowhere near the defense of a Winky Wright who is the only boxer ever to stand right in front of Trinidad and be successful. The only reason Winky was successful with this approach was because of his awesome defense
