Ok so... Alvarez beats mosley - shows alvarez is a great fighter? OR shows mosley needs to retire? Mosley beats alvarez - shows Alvarez is not ready to fight higher skilled fighters due to age & skill OR alvarez is a hype job? Many viewspoints can be had on this fight. For me It all comes down to whether Mosley wants to fight or not. If Mosley comes to fight and Alvarez wins it shows Alvarez has got what it takes to become 'great' and should take his time doing so(since he is still young). If Mosley doesn't come to fight (pac fight style) then it shows Mosley needs to retire and not much on Alvarez's side... What yall think?
Eh Not interesting thread, been talked about already.. Mosely just a stepping stone nothing more... just a name to add... like Pac mosely was a just a ****ing name... the only person deserving of any credit is mayweather because he faced him when no one wanted anything of him after just destroying Margarito.. people feared him and Pac's camp didn't even want him at 144... Anyways, I'ts just a name.. nothing more. His Biggest test IMO has been ryan rhodes...
Shane is a good test for fighters like Alvarez, he is still a pretty solid fighter considering his age and is always in good shape. If Alvarez loses, he loses, it happens in boxing. It just means he lost a fight and Shane won a fight.
