I would go to this one if it wasnt for the fact that Clottey is as boring as watching flys on to of ****.

Clottey is a come forward fighter with an excellent guard. Last time Shane fought a similar style fighter he was schooled twice by Winky. I see Clottey walking him down and successfully countering for 12 rounds on his way to a UD or perhaps SD.

Eh...I dunno, Mosley never looks that great against big guys and Clottey nevers wins the big ones. Mosley will try to shoeshine for points and Clottey will be in his guard 90% of the fight and then complain that he got robbed. I don't see either guy getting hurt.

As much as I agree with that...he has the style to beat Shane.

He covers up REALLY tight. I doubt Shane does ANYTHING to those ribs.

Clottey's defense neutralizes shane's speed....clottey should win this easier then some think....

    My point exactly.

I wouldnt doubt if you see Shane stunned in this one. He has a tremendous uppercut and that's what put Mosley on his ass against Vernon.

Clottey might also become a more aggressive fighter after having learned that you cant win a decision in someone's hometown. His switch in trainer's might be something for the better as well...we'll see how this goes. Should be interesting.

Bingo. I think Clottey will fight his fight which emphasizes defense first but will also increase his work rate considering how he lost against Cotto. Mosley will probably stand in front of Clottey all night but will find it difficult to land cleanly and get out countered along the way.

This is a bad styles match-up for Mosley. Clottey's guard will make it difficult for Shane to land combinations, but Mosley can always work in his quick straight rights and his speed and accuracy should enable him to exploit any openings in Clottey's defense presented to him. Clottey will probably counter effectively and catch a lot of Shane's punches. I don't know. Close fight. It also depends a lot on how much Shane has aged since Margarito.

I don't think anybody EVER said that. But at this point in his career what choice did he have ?? It wasnt Cotto, Pac or PBF. Paul Williams, although I doubt he can make weight at Welter ever again but he really has no choice at this time. Sorry, this fight is more of a "what's left in the cupboard". Don't get me wrong I think he should get a huge Payday but the truth is the truth. He's high risk-low reward at this junction of his career.

This fight is going to be tuff for Shane. Clottey IMO beat the hell out of Cotto and was robbed of a win. Don't get me wrong I think Cotto was affected by the cut, But he was walked down in that fight and hit by the cleaner punches. I don't think Shane wanted this fight.... He just ran out of options. I hope he wins (Shane) ,but I feel alot of people are going to be suprised how effective Clotteys jab is going to be in neutralizing Shane's offense.
