either are fine with me both Mosley and Cotto are 2 of my favorite fighters, and i loved it the 1st time around but Cotto-Margarito, i feel he was cheated and i REALLY wanna see him get revenge, but at the same time i dont want this fraud to get anymore of that Cotto money he'll be seeing from another big event like this so either way it unfolds i wanna see it
Cotto. He won't just walk into a barrage of punches like Margarito did. See, Mosley was stronger than Marg, which is a style nightmare for him. Margarito can only really beat guys who try and dance round him. Cotto can outbox Mosley, he's sharper and younger. Cotto by UD
If all this stuff about Margarito putting plaster in his hand wraps is true then we may not see him fight for a long time. Cotto vs Mosley II should happen.
i picked Cotto the 1st time around and it's still the same Mosley basically cant be beaten fight toe 2 toe which is why i knew he'd beat Mayorga and Margarito, but he can be outboxed, a jab in Mosleys face is like a dagger in Caesar's back, it kills him everytime Cotto's style is just all wrong for Mosley, Cotto's faster and he can outbox the best of them i'd say Cotto beats Shane 10/10 just like Winky and Forrest but you'll probably here alot of people picking Mosley to win after his last fight, but they dont get that, the Mosley that fought Margarito is not the Mosley that fights Cotto, because you can't fight the same fight when you got a completely different problem in front of you, and Cotto brings all sorts of issues to Mosley, it's a fight i dont think Shane can win, though it will be close like the last one was
Mosley didn't seem to think very much of Cotto's potential versatility the first time out from what I recall during the leadup. In the post fight he seemed genuinely surprised Cotto could change gears on him. Mosley has been sizing this rematch up for a long time. Cotto has to be at his very best which he likely will.
yeah, not just him alot of people didn't know he could box and aint see his great jab, but when you watch his very early fights he used to box alot, sometimes he's a boxer but alot of times he's a bull like what most saw in the Judah fight, which was his biggest performance at the time but yeah, i pray this fight goes through because i'd absolutely love to see it, specially if the winner takes on Clottey or Berto, then we'll be close to unifiying 147
The first one was very, very close, damn near even. If they come in the same as last time it could still go either way, though I'd favor Cotto. But we don't yet know how Cotto's beating from Margo will effect him in the ring, and Mosley should be more confident than ever after this victory, not to mention he now has Nazim in his corner I also think he learned a lot from their last fight and will be more prepared. It depends on how Cotto looks in his next outing, really, but right now I'd probably call it for Mosley.
i mean, it is when you look at it but.....Mosley tried everything he could in the 1st fight, he tried to place punches and outfight with his speed, but that didn't work, then he tried to outbox him, then that didn't work, then he tried to KO him, which he did stun him or maybe even rock him, but in the end it still wasn't enough maybe not 10/10 but i'd say 9/10 Cotto walks away with the win, or atleast against that version of Shane, a prime Shane might be a completely different story though
Mosley was throwing some weird punches in that fight. Definately. He looked confused and akward at times. That was not a good night for him. Even without this Margarito stuff, Mosley made it pretty clear he would jump Cotto in a rematch because of the late round success he had in the first one. It'll be a great fight if it happens.
I think we'll see a Margarito - Cotto II since the PPV numbers for the first one were so good and they're both with Top Rank. There aren't that many big names out there for Mosley to fight...Oscar doesn't want a third fight, Hatton and Pac are busy. We might end up getting Mosley vs. Mayweather :think
