Mosely can win if he can throw more uppercuts . they were there for him all night.

I guess Cotto isn't thinking clearly either....he is very confident....

Obviously you are thinking for him....obviuosly you are mistaken.

I'm sure he is confident, given that he's fighting someone who has no chance of beating him

I've watched enough boxing to recognize the type of beating that can ruin someone. This may not be on the level of Chavez-Taylor, Tito-Vargas, but it's near there, probably on the level of Calzaghe-Lacy. It's not just a loss or taking a beating, it's having your manhood taken and the will to win beaten out of you. It takes a toll physically and mentally, especially when it happens to a highly confident undefeated boxer

Sounds to me like you are speaking from a personal experience.

Cotto is not only confident for this fight...he is as well for the Margie rematch.

What happened between Margo and Mosley has a name: PERFECT FIGHT PLAIN. I also think he was able to do that to Margarito because Margarito is just slow and predictable. Not so easy to do it with Cotto's jab hitting you. Plus, Margo long arms were useless once Mosley was inside, not the case with Cotto. Miguel Cotto can beat him again if he trains properly.
Regarding Cotto/Margo fight I honestly think was a case of over confidence and that bleeding nose. That was a lot of blood and when you are trying to take deep breath that goes straight to the lungs. And over confidence because Cotto looked like he thought he was going to fight Gomez again. I honestly think he understimated Margarito.

See now here's my problem here. And why I think Mosley will lose this fight.

Nazim is a great strategist for one-dimensional come-forward fighters.

    Tito
    Pavlik
    Tarver
    Margarito

All these fighters (although some may vary in degree of one-dimensional) are very easy to strategize for. I even predicted that Mosley would win ONLY because he had Nazim in his corner. And he won. (No I didnt see the KO coming and neither did many people)

Cotto is multi-faceted and so far only has ONE loss and ONE fight that Mosley can reference from. He has the Margarito fight, and his victory over himself...He can re-work his gameplan sure...But so will Cotto. He can TRY and do what Margarito did...but he's too old for that. He never did or ever will, especially at this age, throw and pressure Cotto as effectively as Margarito did.

Mosley will either make it a VERY close fight that will most likely have people here calling it a robbery or you'll have a fight not close at all because Mosley can't figure out what the **** to do. He'll be better conditioned. But his punch output will be signifcantly lower. Last time he nearly won because he risked taking shots in order to land those hayemakers of his own. It won't be the same. He'll try to put in that body work again and just won't find it as easy. If Mosley goes STRAIGHT into this fight right after the Margarito fight, he'll be over-confident as well as think that it'll be as easy to hit his opponent like it was for Margarito.

People wanna talk about coming off a devastating loss...Cotto is going to fight Jennings...Michael "I'm not coming here for a vacation" Jennings ...This British nobody is gonna get his **** kicked in for 6 or 7 rounds before realizing he ain't ****.

Cotto will be back in gear as far as getting his rhythm into things will go.

My only concern is that loss to Margarito. If Margarito is found guilty, I have a feeling this will boost his confidence right back to where it was because in his own mind, he'll tell himself he lost because the man hit him with bricks for 11 grueling ass rounds. Even the number of rounds would most likely impress himself...11 ****in' rounds of brickfists...If he's found innocent, I think he'll be a bit worried or distracted because of it and it'll still be something in the back of his mind.

Overall though, I'd say it's gonna be Cotto by MD...if Margarito is found innocent.

If he's guilty, it's Cotto by wider UD.

Had the fight a draw, Mosley will win next time, i think Cotto's secret's out. Mosley needs to pressure and keep the pressure, Cotto will fade as he has done before. Mosley UD.

I'll take Mosley by knockout in the 2nd fight...the blue print is there after the margo fight...With Richardson in Mosley's corner he'd come up with a good game plan...Mosley by mid round knockout!

Naa man...like I said...the varying degree of how one-dimensional is something I mentioned.

What I meant by that ultimately is that YOU KNOW where they are gonna be. IN YOUR FACE, all the time. Moreso Tito than Tarver.

I actually think Tarver's reason for not winning is because

A - The man is overrated...living off his KO victory over weight drained Jones

B - He JUST finished filming Rocky Balboa in which he had to focus more on losing weight (in which he had to throw on like 20 to 30 pounds to actually do the film)

and C - He thought Hopkins was old as **** and didn't take him seriously.
