Cotto, I feel, has a lot more in the tank than Mosley does. I think too many people think Mosley could do better than he would against the top echelon of fighters because of what he did against Margarito. Styles make fights, and Mosley was just too smart and Margarito was too bullheaded and clearly; distracted to do anything but get knocked out by Mosley. Cotto's a different kettle of fish, especially a more defensive and skillful Cotto, the one who was on display against Mosley in the first fight. I give Cotto the edge every time if he has his head screwed on right, especially if Steward is in his corner.
Anyone that thinks Cottoe can beat Shane is a mutha****in' lie. Shane was robbed in their first fight. This time out Shane finishes the job in a career altering beatdown.
You know, I've called out both Team Edward AND Team Jacob at various times on this board, but I find posts like these that can accurately predict a response and sometimes even a specific responder almost to the minute to be absolutely hysterical. And it happens A LOT! Are people on this board really that predictable?
I'm clearly not as smart as some of you guys when it comes to being able to anticipate how certain parties are able to bend a topic to fit a completely separate agenda, but let me guess - floyd supporters want to prop up mosley as much as possible because it supports their belief that Mosley is a greater threat at welterweight than anybody Pacquiao fought, and Pacquiao supporters want to prop up Cotto as much as possible because it supports their belief that Cotto was always better than Mosley and is still a more formidable challenge, and therefore Pacquiao fought better competition than Floyd at welterweight. Sound about right?
