mosley vs. cotto

    Mosley ate jabs, over hand rights, and left hooks all night.......how the hell does he beat someone like mayweather who loves to throw these three punches and can land all three of these punches at will?

    And Mosley missed a lot when throwing his hooks......which when he threw put him terribly off balance....The weak jab of his kept him in the fight.

    After watching this fight i only give him a punchers chance of winning the fight with mayweather....If cotto had better defense the fight would not have been close..

    And I won't be surprised if mayweather stops shane late...I can see the signature left hook giving shane the business...cuz shane is always open for it...

    IDK...I might be on an island with the stoppage but I wouldn't call it fantasy island

    It could be argued that Cotto got a gift decision over an off form Mosley. As much as I like him Cotto did not dominate in that fight in the way you described. Could have gone either way.

    If a fadded DLH could win 4 rounds why cant Mosley win 7 ? These type of arguments are pointless. Mosley is a better fighter with Naseem Richardson.

    naw i did not mean to insinuate that cotto dominated mosley at all.....it was a close fight but those three punches landed often for cotto...and he was not throwing them in combinations....i can see mayweather doing the same thing with higher success

    i mean is he? because of one fight that he wins over a walking punching bag....? im just saying cotto landed a little bit of everything on mosley..i could see that fight as being scored a draw...but i completely see how the judges gave it to cotto....but in no way did mosley do enough to win....he didn't land enough...

    Having watched that fight multiple times I have never thought mosley won. It was a close competitive fight but cotto won more rounds and fought the better fight. Mosley started firing back in the late rounds as he usually does but cotto started moving and landing his jab at will as well. Good fight, with a close unanimous decision for cotto by 1 or 2 rounds

    If the same Mosley from the Margo fights shows up at fight night there is absolutely no way for Floyd to stop him. Cotto out boxed Mosley that's for sure I'm not going to argue with you. Tell me any fighter remotely as good as Cotto at WW that Floyd has faced recently. Maybe Oscar and Floyd won a close decision. My point is that Cotto was at his absolute best against Mosley. Also Cotto has a lot more power at WW than Floyd. If Floyd can't get the respect of Mosley with his punches than he is in big trouble and long night. I favored Floyd against Pac but against Mosley he is going to have a very long night.

    Come on gift decision. Watch the fight again. Look at Mosley's face after the fight. He new he lost

    Also, how did one judge score it 116-113? How do you get that kind of score?

    floyd wont be as aggressive as cotto was,also mosleys gameplan was all wrong for cotto,anybody could see mosley was goin for the ko from the off

    Margo was a monster before the fight and become a walking punching bag after the fight. I hate this and that's the logic that a lot of fans use to discredit you idol. No one can do what Mosley did to Margo at WW. It was an amazing upset no matter the circumstances.
