I'm picking a prime Shane. I would also pick the De La Hoya that lost to Mosley to beat Mayweather as well.

But to be honest, i'm not a huge fan of Mayweather.

2 years ago i thought a prime Mosley would give it to Mayweather at Welter. But Mayweather has grown into the weight finally and has a bigger muscular physique while maintaining his speed.

This version beats a prime version of Mosley.

He never could handle a boxer, so he'd have to outfight Mayweather, not going to happen, too smart.

Mosley was real good at 147 too, he was just facing weaker opposition at 135. He looked awesome at WW (except for maybe the Rivera bout) up until the Forrest fight, a real good fighter and a tough style matchup.

Definitely Shane. It would be close and competitive, but the best Floyd doesn't beat the best Shane. The best wins Floyd has would be a breeze for Shane. Floyd could barely get past an old Oscar. Even Floyd's dad didn't know who won that fight. Even though I had Floyd winning that one, prime Shane won more convincingly than he did almost 10years ago in the 1rst fight. Mosley would of ko'd Hatton and Marquez if he was Floyd's age. Hell he ko's them today!

when did winning 8 rounds in a 12 round fight equate to barely getting past a fighter?

Shane was so fast and strong in his prime. Floyd's style might confuse him a bit but I'd have to give him the nod. Floyd's never been in the ring with someone that good.

I actually see the outcome being similar to when taylor beat hopkins. I think mayweather's the wrong kind of boxer for shane to look great against.

I'd have to go with Shane based on the first few rounds of Judah vs. Mayweather. I think Shane would get stronger and land more as the fight progressed. I don't think FMJ has what it takes ( mental toughness) to go 12 tough rds. with a prime SSM. FMJ would probably cave in and just go in to survival mode , all the while SSM pouring it on.

At 135, I like Mosley to close Floyd down with his footwork and quickness. At 147, I'd favour a prime Mosley only very narrowly.

floyd has the discipline and smarts to frustrate shane all night long. Clear UD for mayweather at LW or WW
