He could barely get by an old Oscar. Prime Oscar beats him by a fairly wide UD.

Prime Shane would be a closer fight but I'd have to pick Shane because he's fought way better competition and Floyd's never been in the ring with a guy like that.

Oscar is the loser of all big fights. He would have found a way to lose against PBF prime for prime.:deal PBF is 1-0 against him and is the better boxer deal with it.:hi:

Putting emoticons in your post doesn't make you right.

A way past it, old Oscar gave Floyd problems. A prime Oscar would win by UD. His long reach, great jab, and fast hands give Floyd a ton of problems and you know it.

Floyd's not a better boxer, he's a better defensive fighter. Floyd doesn't know how to throw a combination.

And Floyds defense, stamina, and intelligence would give Oscar the same probems that it gave Oscar when they fought at 154lbs.

Oscar struggled against past prime Whitaker and Quartey. To say that Oscar easily beats Floyd even in his prime is silly.

Oscar fought a more stationary less mobile Floyd at 154. Floyd would be more mobile, slick and counter orientated against an Oscar where he wasnt outweighed by 10lbs.

Wrong. Floyd doesnt waste punches. When he has a fighter ready to go, he is perfectly capable of throwing a combination. And in terms of 1-2 punching, there is nobody better.

dude pbf showed oscar a lot of respect but was always in control of the fight yeah oscar caused him some problems but oscar caused most fighters problems (bar manny) but always found a way to **** it up or he lost control late. Sorry but for me it was all floyd from 6 onwards and it was oscars weight with oscars gloves and ring size. Deal with it

Floyd would fight the same fight he did at 154. That was basically a prime Floyd in there, albeit a bit heavier.

Oscar's style is all wrong for Floyd in every way. A great jabber, with very fast hands, great combo puncher - and he has a reach and height advantage. Floyd also has a low punch output, he's cagey, and he can't hurt DLH. Floyd could hardly find a target against an old Oscar. He was punching air and getting half of his shots blocked.

I didn't say it would be an easy UD, but I think a prime DLH wins by a fairly wide UD.

Tell that to the late gatti.:deal

Oscar wouldn't have done ****. He would have done the same thing he does in all big fights..lose. PBF's speed, movement countering, ring generalship and defence would have always given Oscar problems. The guy's limitations always showed up in big fights when he stepped up to the elites.

Old Oscar went to a split decision against a prime Floyd. Enough said.

I'll wait until after they fight. Of course it's 2010 at WW, they're older, Mosley is farther from his peak than Mayweather, but it might tell us something about styles and how they mesh between the two in the ring.

You mean a bought and paid for split decison by GBP? The guy who scored the fight for Oscar gave Oscar the 10th round. A round in which PBF clearly dominated. That right there tells you all you need to know about his card. It should have been a UD fool.
