True...they also havent specified weight yet...i think if its at 147 this might give shane some problems...he showed up at 160 in his last fight...not sure how good he'll look in a 147 bout...

but here's a real mind**** question...what would happen if he wins?! :think :smoke

what exactly would happen with the division after such an upset? and where would that put him? who would he go after next?

this should seriously be a whole other thread on its own...:huh

If he wins Sugar Shane cements his place even stronger as a boxing legend. He already has such a great career, this would be just amazing

Shane cant box his ears off. He has to go back to throwing ALOT of punches in bunches like he did was DLH in there 1st bout. Thats the only way to make a dent on a guy like Margo.

Very interesting fight here. Knock 5 years of the clock here and I would see Shane taking a points victory without much problem.

But now, at his age, I don't know if he can last the full 12 being as busy as he will have to be to keep Margo contained.

No it won't, but in reality it shouldn't. I am a Margarito supporter, but by beating Mosley now it only sets him up for "So what, Mosley was past-his-prime" debates.

Mosley has never been a slick boxer that is why I think this fight would have always been a fun fight 3-5 years ago. Now, we will see a good Mosley for about 5-8 rounds, and then Margarito will take over with volume punching and pressure. Margarito by UD.

Hope it happens... I got my money on Margo outworking Shane and giving him a steady beating by the end.

Margo on points somewhere in the ranges of 8 rounds to 4.

No way do I see Shane winning, but I do see him displaying the heart that made him a champion forever.

I don't like Shane's chances here. I know he is a true warrior and I'm looking foward to the fight and it not being ppv. But Mosley could be in for a rough night here.

Shane will probably get stopped. He fights retarted now. He struggled with Mayorga. I've give Mayorga credit for looking his best since the Vargas fight, but Shane was ******ed that night. He doesnt even use the right strategy to fight anymore, his last 2 fights he's used the wrong strategies. He's been getting tired. Wouldnt surprise me if he gets KO'd. But if Shane can step it up in training and step it up, its a different story. Give me the Shane at 35 and I'd pick him to outbox Margarito.

If he tries to be all macho and brave and try to brawl with Margo to prove something to the fans, he's gonna develop some brain damage

margo doesn't hit that hard.....he's not a knockout puncher, he's an accumulation puncher, his power is vastly overrated, Mosley's mixed it up with prime DLH who hits much harder then margo, though he's not the same fighter he was back then, he's always been a tough guy, and he still is one

i honestly think people are counting Mosley out of this too soon, if margo does win....it's not gonna be by a KO or TKO, because Mosley grew up fighting fighters like Margarito, this is nothing new to him

and win or lose he deserves an applaud....he fought Cotto, then went on to fight Mayorga, and now he's fighting Margarito, they're aren't many fighters who have the balls he does in this business

also....a little brain damage never hurt nobody
