Hell yes what a fight this is going to be. Im a Shane fan and I do honestly believe he can win this Shane has alot left IMO. He looked poor at times vs Mayorga but the guy weighed in as a Light Heavyweight and kept holding and rabbit punching. Margarito doesnt hold all night he comes to fight and win not just paydays. This will be a violent war and the fact that I dont have to pay for this makes it even better.

This should be a great fight, can't wait to see it happen. Mosley has a great chance at beating Margarito. Even if Mosley does beat Margarito though, I still think we could see Cotto-Mosley in June. But to be safe, I'll be rooting for Margarito in this fight.

haa we finally agree on something...I think that some people are failing to understand matchup...In Margo Shane will have someone that will stand right in front of him with slow hands and wide punches...I think that Shane much much much faster hands will cause Margo All kinds of problems..

HOWEVER I just seen on ESPN that Margo may not take the fight, and I think that Arums comments are in code meaning that he will have to try and talk Margo into the fight.:hey

    Prime Mosley would win this.

Present Mosley still has a good chance.

I won't pick till the week of the fight.

yes his power is overrated, but he does hit hard. but the reason i say shane shouldnt try to brawl with the guy is because thats not the type of style u use to beat margo. he needs to use his boxing skills to beat margo

Shane is a good big name boxer in Margarito's resume.

Margarito is going to lay a beating on Shane... if a near shot Mayorga can be competetive with shane at this point in his career, Margarito will imo be the first to stop Mosley, not by a true stoppage, but eather referee stoppage, doctor stoppage, or with Mosley quitting on his stool.

Margarito will start slow as always, but the always hittable mosley will be there for the taking by the bigger man, and by the 7th round will be totally overcome imo...

    but!

GOOD FIGHT and props to both guys for making it happen!

Shane is such a damn warrior.... and his legacy to me only enhances no matter what happens, for taking a fight like this towards the end of his career.

Sad thing, Mayo had his moments when he was being the better boxer

Problem is... Shanes skills are completely overated, IMO. People confuse talent with skill. Hes a very predictable fighter that gets fustrated easily, imo he doesnt have half of hopkins true skill and generalship.....

but his talent and determination are his best assets... if he can keep from gassing in this fight, maybe he can bust up margaritos face, who knows.... though i doubt it as cotto hit margarito at will and didnt cause much damage.

i cant wait to see how this unfolds though
