These three can fight eachother 47 times, back and forth back and forth, it doesn't prove a ****ing thing.

 

Yeah but Margarito hold a win over Mayweather?, what was Margarito's accomplishments at the time?, any serious name on his record?, how does he compare to Baldomir in terms of position in the division?

Yeah most likely but i think Mosley has too much boxing experience to let that happen...also Cotto was very sharp the day he fought Mosley and Mosley looked apprehensive....So let's see wich fighters show up for this one...

I say Mosley by Split....I can't see Margarito winning even though he had the performance of a life time againts Cotto....

I want Marg to fight ODLH then ODLH fight both Cotto then Mosley to end it....After that its Paul Williams and Cottos division...'

Just pointing out Mayweather wanted money first since he fought DLH and Hatton for big pay days. Now I understand Williams is a higher offer but think about it. If he fights Mosley and beats him. Then if Cotto gets another strap like lets say he beats Clottey then it will be a huge rematch. Most likely he will get more than the four million dollars that they are offering also a bigger share of the PPV sales. Just saying if Margarito is chasing the money then it should be fine since Mayweather did. :good

Williams BEAT Margarito convincingly, now Margarito is avoiding him like the plague. Fighting past-prime fighters with the winner facign a guy he already knocked out...

 

Past prime but still dangerous....PW had a bad night againts Quintana....So Margarito had a bad night againts PW....Oh and Cotto destroyed Quintana....so this welterweight division is to close to say this or that...I love this because you never know what to expect...
Id rather fight Mosley and Cotto for the money fisrt...maybe even Oscar but since PW aint going anywhere why fight him now?

 

I never said chasing money isn't fine as long as people admit to it, also as I said the Mayweather case is NOTHING similar to Margarito's right now, NOT EVEN CLOSE. This is a man that BEAT Margarito who's offering him a career high pay-day to avenge a LOSS which he declined, Margarito didn't exactly have a win over Mayweather nor did he have anything worth mentioning in terms of actual accomplishments in a division he has been in for years to be seriously considered.

Also, Mayweather's fight with DLH was hardly 100% money, it was a difficult risky fight in a new weight division and how close/tough it was proved it. The Hatton fight involved money but also involved a lot of interest as the PPV buys proved, it was a fight fans were dying for and had in their "dream match" lists since both were at 140. If Mayweather had a loss against someone and moved on for other options then sure I'll criticise him too but that wasn't the case and not even close, talking smack behind the microphone doesn't earn you victories or pay-days if you haven't done enough in the ring.

Baldomir was brought in to make Judah look good. Nothing more. Margarito was beating top ten fighters defending his title and trying to make his way to the top. The way a fighter is supposed to. Baldomir did absoltuely NOTHING to warrent any sort of shot at Judah's belt. You can point to his being unbeaten for years, but we both know that is a terrible way to judge a fighter.
