I will seriously cry if Shane gets stopped here which is a bit possibility but then again he is a more wiley fighter then Cotto and has always got himself out of trouble.

A fight like this just cements Shane's legacy as a truly great fighter, win or lose.

First he and all hisfans talk **** about Floyd chasing money... And now thischicken-hearted motha****a has the nerve to fight a 37-year-old over-the-hill Mosley for the rights to fight a man he already beat the **** out of... Yet he can't fight the man who UD his punk ass!

That's some ***** ****! Margarito is better than that. He has a chance of beating Williams, and according to you haters, Paul doesn't do anything but slap-punch, so it shouldn't be a dangerous fight. If he doesn't get at least $4M for this fight, you will know that he's ducking.

By the way, Shane old ass might just beat Margo. He is better conditioned than Cotto, and has a better chin. He should be able to outpoint and even sweep Margarito for the first 6 rounds. After that, if he stays in there you just never know.

 

OK now fair points you have. Now, I wasnt trying to bash Mayweathers Hatton victory however I feel like if the fight was at 140 Hatton had a a better shot and would have done a lot better. I am not saying he would have won that fight but he probably wouldnt get ko'd in the 10th round.:thumbsup Well we can disagree about how we view the DLH fight since we have different views on it. I honestly think Margarito will get more money combined with Mosley and Cotto fights that will be on HBO PPV then the Williams fight. Now this is how I link the Mayweather situation with Margaritos situation. Now at the time the offer was presented to Floyd to fight Margarito he turned it down and fought Baldomir. Now the biggest threat for Floyd was Margarito at that time and we can all agree on that. (I hope :blood )Mayweather fought Baldomir to get the WBC strap and the Ring Magazine belt. He knew if he grabbed that strap no doubt he may be facing DLH very soon in the near future. He wanted a some what easy fight to secure a big fight with DLH. Now I admit that Williams is the biggest threat to Margarito right now. I aint gonna deny it. I feel if he gets passed him no one is gonna beat him in the division. Now Margarito is passing up a fight with Williams which is the biggest threat for him at the moment to get bigger fights with Mosley and a rematch with Cotto. So in a way its very similar however people seem to like Margarito a little more in this situation since he had fought Williams before even though he had a loss. Oh yeah, also the Hatton victory is a little different than the Cotto victory since Hatton struggled at 147 and it was obvious since he dropped the strap and went back down. Cotto is a better fighter at 147 since well he wasnt getting staggered by weak punchers like Chop Chop. He got hit by Mosley and Judah and he really wasnt staggered much. Just a little stunned. :good
