Mosley vs Margarito Jan. 31!!!

The difference here is that Floyd was already an established fighter at the time and had the right to secure big fights which weren't necessarily too easy, especially the DLH fight. Four weight division champion, fighter of the year 1998 and P4P#1, Margarito is nowhere close to those accomplishments.

As far as risk I really don't know and not sure, at the time we didn't know enough about Baldomir, Judah or even Margarito like we didn't know enough of how Mayweather will perform at the weight.

 

Mosely couldnt hurt Winky with his hands down, WTF is he gonna do to Margo? Bad fight for Mosely, very bad...

 

Margarito already has the right for big fights since well most of his fights are gonna be on PPV like BOB said. DLH did say he wanted the Cotto/Margarito winner remember? :hey You cant really blame Margarito for not jumping up four weight classes. Seems unlikely that he can since he doesnt have that type of skill set to do so.:good A lot of people already see Margarito has an established fighter especially now in this weight class. He has wins over Cintron 2, Clottey, and Cotto. BTW, Margarito came up the hardest possible way fighting men as a kid so believe me he knows how hard it is to reach the top level. :thumbsup

 

I'm not blaming him for jumping up weight classes, you failed to get the point there, my point is that Floyd came a LONG way to make it where he was at that time. One win for Margarito DOESN'T compare with that.

He's not fully established with a loss to someone in the division already, he is established as a legitimate threat after he beat Cotto but fully established with his career and accomplishments?, not even close.

 

Not trying to compare resumes obviously Mayweather has the better one. All I am saying its now or never for Margarito to get the big fights and I dont blame him for going for the fights now. I'll just leave at that.

Funny how it was illegal and pathetic for Mayweather to do the same even though he already accomplished way more when he started looking to make serious money. Now that Margarito is doing it let's all pass on it.

 

Nay, Margarito gets a slight pass since he fought him despite the loss and he even said himself he will fight him down the road. Nay.

 

Ifs and buts don't erase the fact that half of next year is already planned out. Also, one major win doesn't make him fully established no matter how hard you will try to make it sound it does. Also I wasn't comparing his accomplishments with Mayweather because even if I did it will be BEYOND unfair as Mayweather has accomplished more than him and all the serious competition he fought combined.

 

Put yourself in Margaritos shoes. What would you do if you were him? Getting on top of the division after getting their the hardest possible way. Fighting men when he was a kid. Not to mention how brutal the way he fights which most likely will cause him some health problems down the road.(if it doesnt oh ****. :yikes )

 

Oh I know very well about it and acknowledge it whether it's Margarito or anyone else, but do others do the same?, that's the real question.

When it comes to Margarito you will completely understand the situation and discuss it wisely, why?, because he's a fighter you support. If it was someone else, Mayweather for example, it would be full of disrespect and insults.

 

Nay, Mayweather is a great fighter just pissed he didnt clean up the division. I would have been more at eze if he fought Margarito, Cotto, and Williams then retired but it didnt happen. Nay.

 

He already cleaned out TWO divisions before he made his move to 140, when Margarito successfully cleans out one then you'll have something to talk about.
