I cant see Mosley getting knocked out. Although I can see him losing a lopsided decision. Either way, this is a great fight.

He will lose but his wife won't let him fight bums. He may end up in the ring with Steve Forbes. Golden Boy likes Forbes. And before anyone says it NO! Forbes is not a bum. He still has never been down in his career.

the thing is mosley was overrated as a slick boxer because he was fast once he lost the speed his flaws started to appear. he was basically a fast brawler and although he's gonna look good in the early rounds margarito is just gonna grind him down probably quicker than he did cotto

This could be a dangereous fight for Margie if he looks at Shane as a "Tune-up"

Even though Shane can take a better punch and has more endurance
than Cotto, Judah & Cintron.....I think Shane is thinking with his heart
of a champion that he has....especially after the Mayorga fight.
As much as I hate to......I have to go with Margie on this one

    **** **** **** **** ****

I wish Shane had fought someone else. This fight was unnecessary. He has no real chance of beating Margarito and he is in a hard, painful fight. It might be competitive for a few rounds but Mosley doesnt have the style to beat Margarito, not even in his prime. I really dont want to see Shane get beat up.

I was hoping he would retire after the Mayorga fight. That would be a great win to go out on. Hes 37 and doesnt need the money. He is also too old to win against the top guys.

Good for Shane taking the fight but I think he'll be done by round 9

Ditto. Shane was so fast that people automatically assumed he was a slick boxer and didn't notice things like the fact that he didn't have a proper jab. He does a flick jab, and sues it as a rangefinder, but he doesn't use it with conviction and he can't use it to establish distance with a brawler/swarmer.

I actually thought he might have worked on it a little because during the first round or two with Margarito he through a couple of hard jabs, but he abandoned it right away and went back to flicking with it, maybe because he realized his reflexes and stamina weren't going to let him fight a boxer's fight.

This is what continues to separate Shane from the likes of the De La Hoya's
