Simple question.both are shot senior citizens, and shouldn't allow to box anymore. But i find odds for Mayorga on decision temptating,at bet365 it pays currently 15/1. I know it's a longshot, but if Mayorga somehow wins,it's hard to see he stops Mosley. And probably no one knows how they both are looking.i think this match will be quite competitive.and Mosley probably wins,if he has anything left.but for those odds and considering how ****ty Mosley last looked,i think it's worth a small bet atleast.
Personally, I wouldn't bet on this fight, and especially not on Mayorga. For me, Im a stingy better so I only bet on fights Im pretty sure on.... but I know other people are fairly loose with their betting habits and like to try and get those home run bets when the odds are nice. IF I was going to bet on this one, it would be on Mosley first, and I was going to say on the over but even then Im not sure on that, I can still see Mosley stopping Mayorga around the 7th or so in this one. Then again they could just wind up being two shot seniors not pulling the trigger for 10 rounds and it goes the distance, too many variables, not a good betting fight imo. Id save that money and bet on the under for G vs Lem
I feel bad for Shane since he is putting up the money for this farce. It will be lucky to draw 5,000 at The Forum. This has red ink written all over it.
Most profitable bets for me have been underdogs.Hockey, soccer, basketball, mma, boxing etc... I don't like to play if the odds are under 3/1 of course it's sometimes hard to find profitable underdogs. Me personal don't believe Mayorga will win on points, the odds reflect that.but i think it's still possibility and happens more often than every 15th time. I know some betters who always plays the favorites(have to pick the right winner really often).and some who plays underdogs(don't have to be right so often)of course most important think is to find value for your bet.and there is not only way to bet right. And these type of long shots i play of course small money,as it should be. Mosley odds sucks, and has been inactive almost 2yrs.so i would definetly stay away from Mosley.
To each their own :good I just go with what I think is most likely to happen during the fight, and its done me right in the overwhelming majority of the time. But if you have a system that works for you then go for it. For me, this simply isn't a fight worth betting on, especially, especially, not on Mayorga.
In boxing i have found many times profitable to bet fighter X win on points, the odds are many times off,as of course everybody loves KO's.and usually when KO is almost certain, many times i bet also in what round it happens.of course it's spread 1-3 4-6 7-9 10-12 many times found great odds. And recently won a longshot when betting against Dawson.i don't of course bet longshots everyday. There is just something about Mayorga, first fight was close heading to 12th round(Mosley ahead by split decision)Mosley is older, have been inactive.Mayorga atleast have fought couple of times(against taxi drivers)but still. Of course Mayorga is Mayorga, smoking cigarettes.drinking etc and in overall crazy and is beyond shot.but so is Mosley, looked afwul almost 2yrs ago, against freaking Mundine.how about now? and when you said betting GGG-Lemieux under.maybe try bet round group betting.and probably in favor of GGG hah.i haven't check the odds.but i favour between 4-6.but have to put my mind into it first
