Shane is the most physically gifted fighter Floyd would face, and Shane now has a tactical genius in his corner, as exemplified by the difference between the Mosley/Mayorga and Mosley/Margarito fights.
If Mayweather fought Mosley wouldnt he be the smaller guy? If Mayweather fought Cintron wouldnt he be the smaller guy? If Mayweather fought Cotto wouldn't he be the smaller guy? If Mayweather fought Williams wouldn't he be the smaller guy? If Mayweather fought Margarito wouldnt he be the smaller guy? So what exactly is your problem?
Floyd by UD. But definitely Shane has the speed and power to make it a tough fight or even win it(assuming age hasn't caught up with him). I hope we get to see it.
Not that I'm hating or anything, but wasn't that his point exactly? His point being that those fights won't happen Mayweather would be the smaller guy in those fights.
Shane by UD. Floyd would run all night - Shane would keep pressure on him and keep punching - while trying to work the body. I see Floyd spending too much time on defense to win this fight. Shane has the speed, power, and experience to pull this off. Just hope it happens before he turns into a truly old man over night.
Floyd by UD, Shane is open to the right hand like Vargas showed in their first fight and that is one of Floyd's best punches. Shane also likes to throw the overhand right, the shot comes to wide for Floyd not to see it and as Cotto showed Mosley is not the best pressure fighter. Floyd 116-112 IMO.
Hatton could have fought Floyd at 140 but he punked out. MOST of Floyd's 39 fights are at 130 and 135...he's hardly made a career of fighting smaller guys. Hatton is a naturally bigger man than Floyd:deal
