    Mosley had Void out on his feet from one punch, but when Mosley saw that he had Void in trouble he stopped punching, it's as if he had to get permission to beat Void................................

    Mayorga maybe wasnt 'shot' against Mosley, in the truest sense (ala Jones, Toney, ect) but he was far away from his best form, which was in 2003, about 5 years, and a few hard beatings, prior. Obviously Mosley wasnt his best either tho.

    I think Mayorga always ran a little hot and cold, but when he was up for a fight he usually gave a spirited effort, and I think getting the chance to fight Shane motivated him. Mayorga, at least to me, seemed to lose a bit of his fire after the Spinks fight (which I actually had Ricardo winning). From Forrest I through Spinks, he was on his game. While he may not have been the same guy by then, I thought he was rejuvenated for the Mosley fight.

    Shane was far from his best against Floyd, and Floyd was no spring chicken, but Floyd has refined his defensive skills and energy conservation over the last five or so years, which is why he can still do what he does so well.
    I'm convinced Shane knew he would struggle in the later rounds, which is why he let Floyd off the hook after landing the big shots. Prime Mosley would have been all over him like a rash and finished the job, the Mosley in the ring that night was more concerned about running out of gas and being countered.
    I've never really liked Floyd, but have always been a Shane fan, so maybe i'm slightly biased.
