Mosley vs PBF @ 147 in the present who wins??

Mayweather is the more pure boxer no doubt. But that doesn't always make the better fighter or guarantee a win.

Physical attributes are skills, by the way.

 

Now you're just hating, both guys have always looked for the money. PBF was just did Wrestlemania for ****s sake.

Mosley was 36 when he fought Cotto and he still nearly won, Mosley outboxed and outfought DLH in thier first fight so he can box some, when you KO people the way SSM did that shows dominance.

Mosley's first win over DLH was a great win I don't understand why you're tearing it down, the DLH win also happens to be best win for that fighter in your avatar had so why diss SSM.

Mosley has 1 way to beat him and thats box ... we've yet to see Mayweather officially come close to defeat.

Mosley also has 5 losses on his resume ... he also hasn't beat a notable fighter outside of DLH ... he's also 6-5 in the last 6 yrs ...

 

Mosley didn't outbox DLH ... he out brawled him ... there was no techniqe or skill used in that fight ... those guys stood toe to toe and traded.

He didn't come close to beating Cotto ... I didn't have him winning any of the championship rounds. When he had Cotto hurt ... he didn't take advantage and from that point on Cotto outboxed him.

Mosley never used the jab and never moved at angles ... Cotto did and thats how he won the fight.

There's no reason to hate on Mosley ... but he's not great ... he's a good/entertaining fighter.

He's not on that level ...

Mosley has fought superior competition to Mayweather and has lost to fighters Mayweather would also likely lose to (especialy Winky). Also, his best win (DLH) trumps Mayweather's best win.

Mosely, the young version, was a fierce, fast counterpuncher who threw brual punch combinations to the body.

He had an excellent chin, excellent reflexes, etc. You vastly underate him.

 

If he isn't on that level than why did a peak Cotto struggle with a 36 yr old shopworn SSM?

Counterpunching is a skill. Jabbing is a skill. Movement is a skill. Being faster than a fast fighter is a skill. His performance that night was brilliant.

 

Let me end it on this ... beating DLH twice and losing to Forrest and Winky doesn't amount to the level of competition Floyd has faced !!

Have you seen Mosley's fight with DLH? He used angles, head movment and outboxed Hoya. He outfight him as well, but it was his skill as well as physical prowess that allowed him to win that fight.

 

Floud UD. Mosley is a great counterpuncher but his defense has some flaws (ask Cotto) so I see Floyd capitalizing on that. It Would be a great fight though.

 

PBF UD. No way he KO's him though!
