Not sure why this fight never happened. Shane was a beast at 135 but was great at Welter as well. Tito a beast at 147 and carried his power to 154. I think that styles make fights, so I wouldnt gauge it thru DLH although I cant imagine this matchup going the distance. Mosley the more athletic, speed, reach adv. Tito taller man bigger puncher, great finisher Prime for Prime who takes it and why? I love Shane but I cant see him slugging it out with Trinidad at either weight class.
Tito by stoppage at both 147 and 154 The way to beat Tito is to box and move and Mosley is not that type of fighter And he doesn't have the size and power to go toe to toe with a prime Tito.
The fight didn't happen because when Mosley was just starting to make noise at 147, Trinidad had already moved up to 154 and was knocking guys stiff there and was just about to move up to 160. Their careers just didn't meet up at the right time.
Man was i praying for that fight to happen around 99/00. Always wanted Mosley to fight and beat Tito.....IMO he could've. Now It's impossible and pointless.
Well, this thread is kinda messed up, because there's a big difference in this fight @ 147 & 154. @ 154, it definetely goes to Tito. @ 147, its more reasonable and closer.
