You could say that, but you can also mention that Judah was a undefeated fighter at that time.. And was seen as the great american hope:good

You are officially ******ed. You don't know anything about Tszyu. Why are you posting in this thread?

Mosley would have easily beat Tszyu.

Na i disagree. Seeing how Mosley jumped up to Welter and probably even got better tells me he would have been hitting harder at JW, and so what if some guys went just as long with Mosley at Lw. You should know that Mosley would have been stoked for this fight and fought at an even higher level, also you should know styles make fights. Tszyu would have fought an aggressive fight and would have been right there for Mosley. That is why i picked Mosley to stop him in the late midrounds. If you wanna go by your logic about rounds against certain fighters. Well Vince kod him in 10 so figure that Shane would stop him a little sooner. Also you shouldnt compare Philips to Tackie. WHen Vince was on he was an excellent fighter and that night might have beat any version of Tszyu. Another thing Hector was more boxer than aggressive slugger like you said. I have seen him come up since the amatuers thru the pro ranks and use to know him. He was an excellent boxer with good footwork, dont get me wrong he could brawl and be aggressive when forced but he was a boxer. I had him beating a young Tszyu by 1 point.

'Tszyu isnt Oscar he was smaller, not as good, and he didnt even hit as hard as a welter version of Oscar.'

    Not true.

Tszyu and De La Hoya fought Miguel Angel Gonzales back to back, with DLH winning on points and Tsyzu stoppping Gonzales in the tenth.

Gonzales said after the fight Tszyu hit ALOT harder than De La Hoya.

I'll take the opinion of a fighter who was in the ring with both as some credence that Tszyu hit as hard or harder than DLH.

I'm also curious as to where Tszyu's chin became suspect. He spent a career walking through punches to land his own and rarely was rocked or pushed backwards. Philips aside (a fight in which he took right after right from the middle rounds onward and still walked out of the ring) I'd say his chin is fantastic.

No different to Castillo if you want a benchmark.

I'm happy with Mosely being picked to win ... but he'd do it on points against a prime Tszyu. He wouldn't knock him out.

My personal opinion is that Tszyu had all the tools to beat Mosely in a very close fight. It's Tszyu at his best (Gonzales, Rodriguez imo) ... and not his worst (phillips, hatton) ... that gives anyone problems at 140.

So yeah, I'll take Tszyu in an amazing fight.

The Miguel Angel Gonzalez that Tszyu fought was not the same Gonzalez that ODLH beat not even close. Tszyu would have still beaten him but not as decisive.

Another thing Oscar fought on his toes in that fight if you have followed ODLHs career you would know that he had El Proffesor training him at the time, who was trying to make him into a JW version of Miguel Canto. Gonzalez fought the boxer ODLH not the Big bombing ODLH of other fights. Kind of think Hearns as the "Motor City Cobra" vs the "Hit Man".

I never said Tszyus chin was suspect it was pretty good but he could be hurt. See the Hurtado fight and i also saw blown up LW Rafeal Ruelas rock him. Im not saying he would take out Tszyu for the count but i see him either busting him up from accumaltion or overwhelming him to being on the verge of getting kod.

I don't think he was at all hurt in the Hurtado fight, one knock down was a slip and the other he got caught coming in and immediately was up clear eyed and ready to go.

IMO Mosely takes everything Tszyu throws at him that coupled with Shane's prime movement and power i can see either a late KO for Shane or a UD with Tszyu's decent chin holding up throughout

There's nothing to say that the best version of Mosley had the tools to beat the best version of Tszyu.

Tszyu wins by late stoppage. Afterwards everyone says that Mosley was a bum.

Beating a prime ODLH at Welter says a lot in my opinion. Tszyu was not as good as Oscar.

Because of Tszyu's level of competition it is a really tough one to call.

He fought many good fighter's but other than a young undefeated Judah Tszyu never fought any truly elite fighter's like DLH, Mayweather or Mossley.

It is plain to see that Tszyu had the skills and temperament to mix with these type of fighter's but because he didn't no one can really say for certain how he would have fared. We can only speculate.

Based on that i would say that Mosley wins via close decision.

    round1: clear Tszyu
    round2: clear Tszyu
    round3: clear Tszyu
    round4: edge Tszyu
    round5. edge Lopez
    round6: edge Lopez
    round7: clear Lopez
    round8: clear Tszyu
    round9: clear Tszyu
    round10: edge Tszyu
