At the time i had Lopez by 1 but i dont remember my rbr scorecard from 17 years ago. I did catch a some rounds a few months back and it was very close. But your scorecard is ridiculous the Crowd booed the decision and the announcers had it going either way. From what i remember there is no way Tszyu won those early rounds you suggested , i remember Tszyu fighting as if he needed those last rounds(which he won) announcers felt the same way.

mosley beats tszyu hands down for me.
tszyu was pretty subtle with his angles but shane was just too fast and strong.
tszyu relied on bullying people and he was great at stalking his opponents, but they were opponents he could put on the deck for the most part.

mosley had solid power and a chin to match.

Tszyu battered Ruelas for 9 rounds. The only time he has been hurt is by that right cross right on the button by Phillips when he wasn't 100%. He has been knocked down a couple of times in the 1st round (like De La Hoya for example) but he always got up immediately with no discernible effect whatsoever from the KDs.

Well it sounds like you read about the Ruelas fight but didnt see it. I think it was the 4th or 5th:)think) but its quite clear that Ruelas hurt him. If you saw that round you would have to agree. Dont make excuses for Tszyu against Phillips, he was fine and fought his heart out but was beat up in the end legitimately. Phillips was just the better man that night and Tszyu came back a better fighter cause of it, like alot of good, great fighters do after losing their first fight.

Which fighter are you talking about getting knocked down early all the time Ruelas?

I was pretty sure you were going to mention the commentators to make your case. In all my years following boxing I have never heard more biased commentary. Tszyu was boxing beatifully in the early rounds but they never called the action. They talked about his boxing style, amateur career, possible future fights, how his wife was scared watching him and how she reacted in the crowd etc. Lopez was clearly outboxed in the early rounds. The fight became more even in the 5th, a round which could've gone either way. I gave it to Lopez. Lopez edged him in the 6th and clearly outboxed Tszyu in the 7th. This woke them up and they proclaimed "Wow, Lopez is really outboxing Tszyu in this fight". In the 8th Tszyu battered Lopez and they came up with this gem "Lopez is taking the round off". More of the same in round 9 and they came up with their best line of the night "As any good trainer will tell you if you take a round off make it the next to last". Lopez was ready to go but a tired Tszyu couldn't finish him off in the 10th.

You expected the Florida crowd to cheer for the Russian-born Tszyu in 1994?

97-93 or 98-92 even if you give the fifth to Tszyu but it would be unfair to Lopez who put up a good fight.

    Yes.

You list those names as though they were KO artists or something. Sure they are some great fighters (ODLH edges Zoo and PBF clearly), but they weren't KO artists to the degree Kostya was.

But then, you are a renowned clown, so why would I expect any different from you?

mayorga, vargas, de la hoya aren't ko punchers?

winky wright at 154 hits harder than kostya at 140 any day.

    you're biasedness is blinding you

kostya tszyu did nothing in his time, he lost to vince phillip and ricky hatton 2 fighters who are no where near the level of OLD sugar shane mosley.

edit: i forgot you were racist so i wont argue with you either.

Tszyu didn't dominate Ruelas, really? You're making a claim that Ruelas wobbled Tszyu in their fight?

winky at 154 hit harder than a 140lb kostya tszyu, if he didn't how would he have been able to go up in weight succesfully?

would kostya tszyu be able to bust up jermain taylor or last 12 with a 170lb hopkins?

winky was always a technical nightmare and he was never a Ko fighter like tszyu was.

how old was hopkins when he fought winky or did you choose to overlook that?

    you're twisting things

Winky wright hits harder than kostya tszyu what ever way you put it, doesn't matter if he's a technical fighter, a speedy slickster or a ko artist, he hits harder and is the bigger man

and what does hopkins' age have to do with anything? he was rated no.3 p4p at the time, could tszyu have lasted 12 with a 40 year old bhop?

i guess you think manny pacquiao hits harder than andre ward right? seen as he has knockout power and ward puts on clinics.:patsch

Read the title again. It doesn't say Mosley at 154 vs. Tszyu at 140. Tszyu is going to fight a hypothetical 140 version of Mosley.
