Let's say they meet circa 98-99 at 140, which would put both at their peaks. Who wins?

    Damn...

KT gets so much flak around (god knows why, he was awesome).

On paper, Shane should give him kittens due to his speed and ferocity. But KT, for a fighter that lacked elite speed, handled the faster fighters superbly.

Hard to pick a winner. Shane was a monster in that period and 140 was KT's home.

It"s so hard to pick a winner here. Tszyu has great timing and subtle defensive slips that leave him in great position to fire back. Mosley has great hand and foot speed and athleticisim with an adamantium chin. They both have qualities and skills that would bring them success in the fight, but I think Mosley's chin would hold up to tszyu's bombs - I'm not too sure I can say the same about tszyu taking Mosley's shots.

Tszyu was an excellent champion but I think he was lucky that Mosley didn't make a pit stop at 140 around that time. I think a lot of Tszyu's success was build upon him physically being the boss (not that he was a weight bully) and his opponents backing away from him. Mosley had an iron chin, huge power of his own, carried the fight to everyone and had a big hand speed advantage here. I see him breaking Tszyu down and stopping him late.

I think one of the big reasons Tszyu is screwed against Mosley is because he wouldn't be able to physically manhandle him.

Shane should really do it in a war for however long it lasts. I just never know with him, there's always doubt in my mind at the prospect of him being in a firefight with a skilled, determined big puncher and lacking the will to win or let his hands go after taking a few hard shots. Forrest turned him into a self-doubting one punch at a time merchant overnight seemingly, other than the Margarito fight. I'd still pick him more often than not, mind. If he could put it all together and not allow Kostya to discourage him, I'd imagine it maybe looking something like the Phillips fight. Back and forth with Mosley having to swallow plenty of big punches and suck it up, but maybe a shade more one-sided overall due to him being better than Phillips.

Neither Tszyu nor Mosley was the posterboy for intangibles, but Shane was most definitely willing to dig deeper.

Dont forget, he was behind in the first DLH fight, then swept the late rounds.

I dont think Tszyu had it in him to dig himself outta a dark place.

I think Shane would win with his superior hand speed, combinations and under rated body attack. Tzyu is going to land some very thudding counter right hands in this fight. Questuon is can Shane take them, Shane has always shown a tough beard so I think he takes a UD but he suffers through some uncomfortable moments. It now so much Tzyu's power but his timing that makes him so dangerous of a puncher.
