Phillips couldnt miss with his right hand against Tzyu,Mosley has an even better right hand than Vince hes also faster and hits harder than him and has a better chin, that wuld spell trouble for KT who gets knocked out at around the eight round.
Tszyu is probably the only one I'd pick to beat Mosley below 147. He has the tools IMO to keep the distance and set up his huge bombs. I think he'd have success landing bombs, and while he wouldn't stop Shane, the power would force Mosley into a Tszyu type of fight. Very tough call, but I go with Tszyu by decision. Bad style for Mosley.
Comparing Judah & Mitchell to Shane is a joke! First off, a prime Mosley was IMO even faster than Zab, and DEFINITELY faster than Mitchell. Furthermore, Shane is so much stronger and tougher(physically & mentally) than Mitchell and Judah that its not even funny. Mitchell & Judah were mental midgets with dodgy chins. Plus Shane's style is different from those guys, so its a dumb comparison anyway. Just because Tszyu handled Mitchell & Zab, doesnt mean he'd do the same to Shane. Tszyu is being overrated in this matchup, all the intangibles favor Shane. We're talking about Mosley, who has a history of coming up big down the stretch in tough fights vs Tszyu, who in his toughest fights LOST! The fight would be there for the taking late, and Mosley would take over. Tszyu was a front runner. I dont give a **** what his groupies think, he was. In a tough fight vs Shane, Tszyu would eventually give in. Thats not to say I think Tszyu was a *****, but he clearly did NOT have as much heart, and desire to win as Shane.
KT beats Mosely. There is a reason Mosely jumped for lightweight to welterweight, skiping jr. welterweight and the reason is KT. Look at it this way, if Mosely had never fought Forrest, 99% of us would have picked Mosely. And would have been wrong. Same thing with KT, he beats Mosely.
Real 50-50 fight Mosley could stop Tyszu when you consider Phillips stopped a prime Kostya and Mosley hit alot harder then Vince, On the other hand Tyszu was a very underated boxer and boxers give Mosley alot of trouble.
:rofl Nah....He never faught KT at Jr WW b/c KT wasn't a big enough name and no one really thought KT stood much of a chance against Shane. After the loss KT suffered at the hands of Vince KT wasn't seen as a viable threat to the man whom many felt would be the P4P king in Shane mosely...he went to WW to fight DLH.
KT was a great TECHNICAL fighter....he didn't "BOX" in the sense where he was a mover who had a lot of head movement, angles or showed lateral movement. Shane on the other hand in his PRIME had all of those characteristics clicking which is why he went up to WW to face DLH in a fight that pitted both men in their primes together.....KT was a very good champion and was one of the most CONSISTANT Jr WW around...ever! But he NEVER faught a GREAT fighter...never BEAT a great fighter and lost to fighters at his level or below. He did as well as he did bc of his power and EXTREME dedication to training and preparations.
KT was fantastic fighter at controling the speed no way would this pan out for a mosley domination, KT would destory Mosley, Landing straight rights all day and at JWW he was la animal when he let lose quick fire hooks to the body, n Phillips fight was a great example of a fighter who underperformed and a fighter who fought his greatest fight, KT never reached his prime to early 2000 where he was a top ten P4P fighter KT by wide UD
THIS is a fantasy fight that everyone would have paid to see. Prime Kostya vs Prime Mosley. I would have to give a slight edge to Mosley in this one though
I disagree about Tyzsu not being a "Boxer" I know it was in the amatuers and it was alot different to the pros but Tyszu really did a number on Vernon Forrest in the ams, He also outboxed Ben Tackie i know Tackie isnt excatly elite but Cotto didnt have height or strength advantages like Winky and Forrest did which is one of the reasons they beat Shane so comprehensivley i think its possible for Kostya to outbox Mosley. But i still think Mosley wins it.
I like Shane by decision...Shane has decent power if not good power at 147..at 135 he was a beast with a 32-0 30 ko record...Shane UD
The **** are you on about you ******ed ****?! All I said is that speed alone wouldn't be enough for Shane to beat Tszyu... he needs to bring a good gameplan to the table as well. Yeesh! :verysad
I see Mosley winning, he was just so much faster than Zoo in his prime, no way Zoo could outbox a peak version of SSM as he was way to fast IMO.
