He's not a slick boxer. But he has tremendous speed and power which make up for his lack of technical ability so that it looks like he's being great defensively, when in reality he's just really fast, fast enough to see you coming. Which would be Tszyu's problem here. Tszyu doesnt have the boxing ability of a Winky or Forrest, and Mosley is atleast physically the superior boxer I think.
Danny_Rand - He's an amatuer world champion - Go watch KT's world amatuer win over Vernon Forrest - Holder of two victories over Shane Mosley in pro's and one or two at amatuer - Then come back and tell us that Tszyu doesn't have that boxing ability.... Classic!
Amatuers dude. atsch Were they wearing big has padded head guards lol? That means nothing. I never said Tszyu didnt have boxing ability, I said he wasnt in the class of a Forrest or Wright. Mosleys speed, power and strength would be too much for Zoo.
Not too long ago I was wondering how would Mosley's legacy look like had Oscar not given him the first fight at the time he did. I like to think Mosley would indeed stop at 140lbs and face Tzyu. Shane UD for me. (140 could have really been Shane's best weight)
And if you recall the lead up to the first Mosley fight - Shane kept on saying the same thing - "the amatuers means nothing" - Vernon said he had the blueprint from the amatuers. Who was right in that one? I think it's pretty clear that Tszyu has the superior career achievments in both amatuer and pros - World Champ amatuer, undisputed 140 champ. How did Vernon's boxing skills work out with that scintillating scientist of the ring Ricardo Mayorga?
Nonesense. Kostya had one-punch KO power for anyone who ever boxed at 140. I would favour Shane to take this by a clear decision, 8-4 or 9-3. He could even very well stop Kostya. But if he gets caught by a big one, he's going to Sleep.
