I feel this fight is wats gona happen. I feel Wright has what it takes to decision williams even now. there is potential talk about mosley vs williams, but wen people realise that wright is still in the game there gona want to see mosley vs wright. one thing I learned in the last few years is, dont **** with the old skool fighters. the last era of fighters will take the new kids to skool and beat them back all the way home. Im not taking anything away from williams but all i see is if quintana can do it, wright can do it too, especially with that crazy ass defense. I feel lots of people are underestimating wright......and yea i know he hasnt fought in years.
Winky is going to beat Paul but Shane is not going to fight Winky a 3rd time homie he just doesn't want that kind of beating again.
If Wright does come back and beat PW, there will NOT be a third fight with SSM, Mosley just lacks the size and strength to fight a MW, which is what Winky is, add his boxing skills to go with it and Mosley has NO chance against him but niether does anyone else at 147-154 IMO.
The second fight was close. I dont' want to see a third because Winky is boring as paste. "niether does anyone else at 147-154 IMO." What's Sam Soliman fighting at?
Shane can probably beat Winky at light middleweight right now. And Vernon, come to think of it. Erasing some of the sting of either dual loss would do wonders for his legacy.
Winky can no longer make 154, let alone 147. Shane would be silly to move up beyond 147 when it looks like he can rule one of the hottest divisions in the sport. The winner of Winky/Williams will most likely get a crack at Pavlik.
atsch Winky is NOT boring, his fights with SSM, Vargas, Taylor, Quartey, and Solimon were enjoyable. Trust me Mosley does NOT beat Winky. BTW Solimon got his ass handed to him by an out of shape Winky, seriously dude won maybe 2 rds at best.
Wright is all wrong for Mosley. Too strong, too good defensively and Mosley couldn't seem to ever get past his jab.
Well, we don't know how Ronald looks right now. He didn't look fantastic in his last couple of fights, and he's been out of the game awhile. If Shane threw that same kind of attack from Saturday at him, and he was as slow and lethargic as he's looked recently, he could get buried on points.
I tend to agree with this. Not sure either fight is very important to Shane at this point. His goal should be getting Mayweather inside the ring. That's his top priority.
