I don't know if this has been suggested before...

But I think Mosley ain't shot and should fight the winner of Cotto vs Foreman

I still think with the exception of Mayweather he is the best Welterweight out there and should consider one trip up to Light Middle

I personally think he should retire...what is he 39 years old?...look at the punishment he took against Mayweather, as the rounds went on...Mosley's neck was snapping back like I've never seen before.

And no...with the exception of Mayweather he is not the best Welterweight out there!

Then who would you consider the best Welterweight?

He was beaten by arguably the best fighter on the planet - no reason to retire. Look at Hopkins' career. I see no reason why Mosley can't fight another 2 times maybe even 3.

I think he should squash Berto first.

If Floyd and Pac go ahead, then yes I think it's a real possibility. But if it fails, then Arum may keep his fights in house again, and match the quadrant of Pac, Cotto, Foreman, and Margarito against each other.

But ut will be very interesting to see how Mosley looks in his next fight, as we’ll know how much he has deteriorated.

Before the Mayweather Mosley bout, I had Mosley and Pacquiao as the number 1 Welterweights in the world. After the bout, I have Mayweather and Pacquiao holding these places...and by some margin...the same as the P4P rankings.

Hopkins is a rare exception of a boxer who can prolong his career because he never really takes much punishment, is always in excellent shape, etc. When have you seen Hopkins take a one-sided beating like Mosley did against Mayweather? When have you seen Hopkins head snapped back from almost every punch...including jabs? These one-sided beatings in boxing can end a career, even more so than a KO defeat...and especially at Mosley's age. I see no successful comeback for him...if he does return I doubt we will see a much better version than the one we seen May 1st.

He should have retired after the Mayorga fight, he was clearly way past it back then.

I don't think Mosley is worth putting into big fights anymore. Not only does he not deserve it so much after losing, but he gasses after only a few rounds. What's the point, so he can get beat up again? I think if he gets a big fight again that he should be subject to random testing again, cause it's obvious that he really needs that EPO.

In simplistic terms Mosley isn't going to add anything else to his legacy so retire before something stupid happens. I was at his fight with Floyd and there were serveral times where he had target and didn't fire.

He's used up. Too many hard fights and gym wars. Mosley was fighting world champions in LA as a teenager and has a lot of wear and tear. He's a great fighter and has nothing else to prove.

He should beat Berto and then retire.

Its time for Mosley to go,he was great against Margo but he looked bad against Floyd. He looked the same way against Mayorga. The Margo win got him a good final payday against Mayweather and he should now walk away,im not saying he could not turn in another good showing I just dont think its worth the risk for him to try.He has been a great fighter and enough is enough at 38.
