Mosley: Waiting for Mayweather to accept the fight..Berto can wait.

With the Pac-Cotto fight on the horizon, if Mayweather took a fight with Mosley, it couldn't take place until early next year. I doubt if the winner of Pac-Cotto is going to wait until February or March to even find out if a fight with Mayweather is possible. The timetable isn't looking good for a Mayweather-Mosley fight, especially given the possible payday for a Mayweather-Pac fight.

 

Shane just wants big money fight against elite as opposed to just fighting good fighters. Yet Cotto chose Clottey, then he was waiting for Pac, and Pac didn't want him, Cotto, after beating Clottey, agreed to fight Pac. He was asking Mayweather to fight him in a comeback fight, but Floyd chose Marquez. In essence, he was waiting for big names to free up, and when they did, they all chose someone else. Now he is waiting on Mayweather. I hope if Floyd says no, (and I am sure he will, since it makes a lot of sense for Floyd to take it easy now for 6 weeks, then if Pac beats Cotto, fight Pac) he will fight Berto. This is intriguing fight. I hope Mosley does not wait for Cotto-Pac outcome though.

 

exuse me sir, he has over 50 professional fights, had god knows how many amateur fights. he stays in teh gym. i think he will be ok with the layoff. its when you binge drink like hatton that will hurt you when u leave the sport. neither floyd and shane do that. layoffs dont hurt the two, they are professional fighters.

That is what we like to hear.Mayweather - Mosley is a terrific fight. The winner of that fight should fight the winner of Cotto-Pac.

But, I guess Mayweather will have to consult his dumb ass manager first.

 

Why does not he face Mosley first and then the winner Pac-Cotto. Mosley is the Ring champ, an ATG, Mosley - Mayweather is a terrific fight but I guess it is too much RISK for mayweather.

Today a lot of fighters are business men, in the past we had real fighters.

If Mosely is gonna wait on Floyd, then he should give up his belt and let two other hungry fighters fight for the championship. He's becoming a paper champion

 

Mosley would be better off against Clottey than Berto, IMO. Mosley has problems against speedy fighters.
