Shane was a beast, but truth be told his resume at the time was quite lacking.

of course. he also forgot to pay the IRS, the bank for his cars, his trashman and most recently, his gas company.

I do realize that it was in part due to the level of comp available but it was lacking nevertheless. Didn't say he dodged anyone....

but to me john brown, john john molina, philip holiday and jesse james leija

is no different than fighting demarcus corley, aturro gatti and henry bruseles.

Floyd probably fought better comp than shane at lightweight. The thing was shane just looked so dominant compared to his opponents in some ways that resembled rjj's dominance over lightheavy division. i remember that was theme when shane fought golden johnson on the undercard of RJJ.

At welterweight, shane clearly has fought tougher comp than floyd to the point that i guess it helps to validate his lightweight dominance. u know what i mean?

Outside of cotto id take forrest or wright over mayweather aswell. So his losses are really no big deal. No need to explain why wright would beat floyd but forrest also had a style that would nullify floyd aswell.
