Mosley wasn't "Old" when Berto was fighting him

I remember hearing a lot of "Margo never was all that good, he just used rocks in his gloves, Mosley has accomplished nothing."

There are always faceless forum people bashing a winning fighter and taking his credit away every SINGLE FIGHT.

More amusing to me is how butt-hurt you guys get over it.

 

Let me put it to you this way, before this fight I thought Mosley "might" beat Berto, now I'm not so sure.

I might even give Saul Alvarez a decent chance of beating last Saturday's Mosley!

 

If shane looked that bad against Berto people would be saying the same thing.

 

If Alvarez gets past the first two or three rounds i have no doubt he beats the Mosley of today.

 

Mosley can still handle himself somewhat but he really is old, dude is pushing 40. He was favored over Berto because Berto really just isn't that good. People favored him to lose to Margacheato and nearly 3 years ago he got edged out by Cotto. Floyd shouldn't get alot of credit for the win itself but he should get alot of credit for the way he beat him.

 

I am 24, a welterweight, and Shane's age would not stop him from whipping my ass in the least. Turn your caps lock off until you learn how to correctly make a logical argument. While Shane's age may not have put lesser skilled Berto over the top, it could have been enough to put remarkably skilled Mayweather over the top.

For the record, I do not agree. Mayweather would have whipped Mosley's ass at any age. I'm just sick of reading all the ridiculous bull**** arguments here that you folks believe is LOGIC.

 

thats your opinion and your entitled to it. fact is mosley was the most dangerous man at 147. to be that dangerous, you have to have some thing left in the tank. even a prime mosley, though he would liekly win, would have had a problem with mayweather's counterpunching. not like prime mosley was outboxed. you remember what happened when he fought vernon forest.

 

I actually felt that Berto had a very good chance against Mosley due to his inactivity.

 

Again, that was all based on his performance over Margarito, a lot of people are influenced by a fighter's last win(which usually never tells the whole story)

PBF was a 4-1 favorite over old man Sugar Shane what does tell you.

You will be told you were wrong every time you make ANY argument. There are haters and boyfriends for every fighter. Don't you see that, NO MATTER WHO IT IS, someone ALWAYS takes credit away from the winning fighter FOR SOME REASON.
