Dude was old when he was 36 and lost to Cotto and he is turning 40 next year, I'm not taking anything away from PBF, he and Pac are a level beyond everyone else at WW , but we don't act like Pac stopped a peak ODLH (for good reason) so lets not act like Mosley was in his prime either.

no, you're making yourself look stupid for even replying in the first place. mosley at the same age dominated and koed margarito. and what if mosley fights again and wins against a top ww. then you cant use his age again, can you. so you can prove people wrong depending on the situation. if you cant do that, then that on you. of course hes not in his prime, but he looked more then formiddable in his last outing.

The TS made a thread about a boxer NOT being old yet next year the said boxer is gonna hit 40, when someone is 38 and gonna be 39 in 5 months, that is old. Mayweather himself said he was 40. PBF gaive Shane 2 nice checks; a pay check, and a reality check.

IM THE TS...I am not saying shanes age didnt play into it..IM SAYING THAT WAS THE SAME SHANE THAT FOUGHT MARGARITO JAN 09..HE JUST HAD A DIFFERENT OPPONENT IN FRONT OF HIM AND ONE WHERE HE WAS FORCED TO THINK...WHEN HE WAS FIRING OFF WITH MARGARITO HE DIDNT GET TIRED...MARGARITO WASN'T MAKING HIM PAY THOUGH WITH SHARP CRISP COUNTERPUNCHING...FLOYD DID THUS WHY SHANE GOT HIS A$$ WHOOPED..

AGAIN..SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR HE HAS TAKEN THE #2 AND #3 FIGHTERS IN THE SPORTS TO SCHOOL...COULD CARE LESS ABOUT AGE..FLOYD COULD FIGHT AND BEAT BERTO WHO IS 26 AND U WOULD SAY BERTO TOO YOUNG..

FACT IS HE BEAT THE MAN AT WW...WHEN HE BEATS MANNY PACQUIAO THAN THE HATERZ WILL COME UP WITH SOMEONE NEW...TRUST I HAVE SEEN IT HAPPEN AFTER THE MOSLEY, JMM, HATTON, ODLH FIGHTS ON ESB...

HATTON FANS WERE UP ON HERE SWEARING THAT RICKY WOULD BEAT HIM..THAN THOSE SAME FANS SWORE UP AND DOWN THAT FLOYD TOOK THE FIGHT AT 147 CUZ HE COULDNT BEAT RICKY AT 140

AGAIN..MARK MY WORDS...I SAID THE SAME ABOUT SHANE...WHEN FLOYD FIGHTS MANNY AND BEATS HIM MANY HATERS WILL SAY PAC WAS TOO SMALL N IT DONT COUNT..:deal

Margarito was a fraud created by Arum to discredit PBF, he was never that good.

I get your point, I'm just saying Shane isn't what he once was, but you are right in fact he has now twice beaten the the man at 147, now SSM can still handle himself against most fighters BUT he needs to retire.

De La Hoya's age wasn't the issue against Pacquiao. The fact that he drained down to his skeleton was.

So if the reigning champion in your weight class is a "test" who in the hell is a guy supposed to fight? :think

STarting at the 3rd round, right after he wobbled Mayweather at the 2nd round?

That is actually the quickest turnaround in boxing history.

The problem with 39 year old fighters is you will not know what you get. Sometimes they seem to act wonders and in the next fight they are crappy as crap.

You will never know what you are going to get until the fight time.

I have been consistent on this matter and even predicted that he will have endurance issues in this fight. There is a World difference in fighting Margarito versus Mayweather, and if you don't know, you will never know.

Margarito is the type of boxer where your age is not a very important parameter, but rather your punch power.

What I never predicted is how he is already mouth-breathing at the end of 2nd round.

Um he looked like **** against Forbes and I predicted he would get ****ed up if he fought an elite fighter with speed at WW, he did and he got ****ed up, dehydrating hurt him but being 2 months away from hitting 36 probably hurt him just as much if not more, he looked like Mosley out there, no reflexes, no legs, no speed, nothing. Father Time kicked Oscar's ass.

I want PBF to fight Pac, and if he wins fight once or twice more and retire undefeated, If he sticks around long enough Father Time will eventually get him.
